We booked the Sunrise Cabin for 4 nights/5 days and absolutely loved our stay. It was the perfect place to disconnect from the world and recharge. The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a full kitchen complete with utensils, pots/pans, dishware, coffee/tea and cooking oil. When we checked into our cabin, we arrived to a half dozen farm fresh eggs and freshly baked scones waiting for us in the kitchen! We used those eggs and bought more at the onsite farm stand during our stay as we made use of the kitchen every day. They also sell homemade sheep milk cheeses, which were AMAZING! The cabin was the perfect size for two people. It was clean, cozy and had lots of natural light. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the morning and watching the sheep go out for their daily morning exercise. The grounds are lovely and quiet. Todd and Suzy were fantastic hosts. We would absolutely stay here again.

My son, our dog and I had the most relaxing two night stay at the Fat Sheep Farm this past October. We woke up before the sunrise and watched it peak through the trees, with nothing but the peaceful wind and chirping birds to listen to. After a while, the sound of goats calling for their breakfast and the rooster announcing the new day... gave us the true sense of what it feels like to wake up on a farm. Our dog was welcome company for the farm dog, Rocky! They blissfully romped together in a fenced enclosure - and wore each other out. With the full bath, home style kitchen and cozy beds (with pillows I have to get for my whole family) we had all the comforts of home - only better!! A short drive away, we found beautiful views, great hiking trails, shops and restaurants to check out. We plan to visit again in the spring, but this time bring more people to enjoy it with us! Thank you Suzy and Todd for a great time!

Fat Sheep Farms was truly a highlight to my year. My partner and I traveled in October with 2 other friends, and we had an absolute blast. The grounds are simply beautiful as the majesty of the green mountains provides the backdrop for your time there. The land is full of life with trees, wildflowers, and animals and you immediately findyourself slowing down the pace while breathing in your natural surroundings. Suzy is an outstanding hostess and spent time telling us about the farm, her family's vision, and all the cool things they are doing with the space and their time. The mile long path along the grounds is a perfect way to start the day, greattimg the beautiful mist that hangs over the mountains, followed by the farm fresh eggs provided for you so graciously by Sunzy and her family. There are trails to adventure along in every direction, as well as restaurants, bars, and breweries. We spent our days hiking and meandering through the wilderness and our nights sipping VT craft beers and ciders on the fabulous porch of our cabin listening to might sounds and watching the stars. It is quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and food for the soul. It's a perfect place for families (especially young kids), couples, or small groups. Please dont miss out on this fabulous break from the everyday and chance to reconnect with nature and yourself. Thank you, Suzy and family!! We will be back soon!! Keep up the amazing work, and thank you for sharing this amazing space...

I don't write reviews, but I definitely need to for this one. What a charming, beautiful farm. We were looking for a hands-on and organic experience for our children, some quiet time, and open scenery and it met those expectations and beyond. We are so incredibly grateful.

We arrived at the farm with clear instructions in hand on where to go, how to access our cabin, etc, to maintain a contactless arrival. The cabin we stayed in was so thoughtfully designed. It was a one bedroom, but with all the windows and high ceiling, it felt pretty spacious. And it overlooked the barn and animals on one side, with a view of the open fields on the other side. It was really clean and equipped with everything we needed. And we especially appreciated being welcomed with fresh eggs and scones!

The owners, Suzy and Todd, are just lovely. Corresponding with Todd was seamless- he made sure we were set and had everything we needed for our stay. We were able to join in on the morning chores to help feed the animals and bring some of them out from the barn and Suzy was so patient in answering any questions we had and in guiding us on the handling of the animals. And we just soaked it all in, my children had an incredible time completing morning chores with the animals, spending all day in the barn, and running in the fields. It was just perfect.

Thank you so much Suzy and Todd-- we hope we can make...

We city slickers just adored staying on this farm in a lovely and well-appointed cottage with gorgeous mountain views. It was wonderful to be there at lambing time, and those adorable creatures just warmed my heart. My overall score reflects the impersonal feel of the experience -- like a self check-in AirBnB when I was hoping for country hospitality -- and a few other minor negatives.||The well-designed cottage presented as light and airy despite its compact footprint. It could use a few final touches. The floors were quite cold; I suggest larger rugs everywhere, and a bathroom rug or guest slippers. The early morning light flooding the sleeping loft through the clerestory windows could wake the dead; perhaps some remotely operated shades there?||The welcome eggs and scones were a nice touch. But perhaps they could be dropped off in the morning so that the scones don't wind up "day-old."||As to that impersonal feel -- it would have been so nice to have a live human greet us when we arrived. Even better would be that above-mentioned breakfast delivery, and better still, a guided experience such as a farm tour or woods walk. ||I realize that farm chores are many, but since this is now clearly a hybrid business, enhancing the hospitality side could...
