Fit Farm is a great value for the benefits you will receive. The staff is awesome. This is a family run business that treats its employees and guest as family. The workout routines are as challenging as you want to make it. You could be an elite athlete and be challenged physically or a couch potato and in need of inspiration. The magic is the people you are going through the experience with. My spouse and I did it together. Many of the exercises were partner routines which made us rely on each other. This proved to be great couple's therapy. One person couldn't stop until the other completed the alternate exercise. It made you really push knowing your best friend was relying on you. At the end of a full day of intense workouts you had an amazing sense of accomplishment. I would recommend doing this with your spouse. The people we met were also very rewarding. We created some great friendships. It's amazing how close you can get to someone when you are working through a challenging workout. These people inspired us to keep going each minute of the day especially when it would have been so easy to skip one of the classes or exercises. We became a team that cared about each other. Everyone supported each other no matter what fitness level you were. The diversity of individuals was also rewarding. After a hard day of workouts, the evenings were nice getting to know each other. It's interesting how much you share with people after going through a challenging day. I would say our group rocked it and was definitely the best group ever to attend... But that is just my opinion. ; 0 ) The reason for my high praise for Fit Farm is the staff. Linda gave us a quick tour when we checked in on Sunday. She is this little spitfire of a person who has more energy that a nuclear reactor. I didn't realize at the time that she would also be one of our workout trainers. We did a very challenging hike which seemed like it was all up hills. Linda never missed a beat. While I was trying to catch my breath, she would just keep a conversation rolling without missing a beat. Nothing could stop this amazing woman. Never.... Never.... Never... Ever challenge Linda to a burpee contest. You will lose... Just saying Ana was another of our trainers. Ana knew how to challenge you to get the most out of your effort. She was always supportive, very tough, and willing to help you improve in all aspects of your journey. Hunter was a wealth of knowledge. Not only did he provide a challenging workout to push your limits he knew the body mechanics inside and out. If you have a pain in a particular area, he could help you with it. Hunter also provided physical therapy Sessons with stretching your muscles. It was an amazing experience. I had a challenge with my shoulder and hip and after a session with Hunter these areas worked so much better with much less pain. Hunter is an expert in Jiu Jitsu and retired MMA fighter. His experience as a sports trainer is unmatched. Sam is an ex-paratrooper who came from a law enforcement career to be a trainer. He has a calm way of pushing you past your stopping point. He is very knowledgeable in the mechanics of each movement, so you do not get hurt. He is always there with little technique tweaks and helpful hints. Ashley and Taylor are the behind-the-scenes superstars who make sure your room was clean, the lodge is clean and even helps get the food out. They are busy all day, so you have to express your gratitude quickly when you see them because they are busy bees. Mike is the man. He prepares the lion share of the meals and he takes pride in what he serves. The food is plentiful and well prepared. Karl is the chef and an amazing musician also. He makes all of the sauces from scratch. Kris is the last and most amazing person we got to know. She is the owner. She is a very motivational leader to her employees and all of the guests. I loved the way she treated her staff like family. You can just see from the positive attitudes of everyone you meet that her leadership is...
Read moreI do not usually write reviews, but when one comes across an extraordinary place, I feel obligated to inform my fellow fit/fat friends out there.||Most importantly I speak from experience. I have been to three different Fit farms/boot camps. ||1. Malibu’s Biggest Loser, now found in Niagara, NY 2013||2. Fit for Life, Hilton Head, SC 2017. Eric Viskovicz owner. He is currently operating out of AZ. If you google LiveInFitness it will take you to wherever this fraud artist has set up a new shop. I will deal with the negative side of this business later.||3. Rock Springs Fit Farm, Castilian. Rock Springs. I stayed there March 20 – April 10, 2022.||After researching and doing my due diligence I decided on booking, Rock Springs Fit Farm. I was pleasantly surprised. ||Rock Springs is a family-owned “Fit Farm” set in an amazing atmosphere. Fit farm creates a personable environment, facilitated by informative and attentive staff. Which really made for a fantastic experience. Every employee knows your name and they take immense pride in the place they work.|| Fit Farm maxes out at approximately twenty-four work-out enthusiasts, which translates to lots of wonderful space to work out in…. stretching your six feet long legs and NOT touching your neighbor. The workout areas are spacious, clean and well organized and are always near to bathrooms, fresh water and smell good.||They offer everything from the soft (nose friendly) tissues found wherever you needed them and lovely fluffy bathrobes they allow you to borrow during your stay.||The rooms: Are arranged perfectly, after a full day of working out, one wants everything at your fingertips. The layout/design of the rooms are better and more functional than some high-end hotels. Nightstand, electrical outlets, & lots of room in bathroom for everything. Every employee knows your name and they take immense pride in the place they work.||Personally, I have many mobility issues and I informed the first fitness instructor I met, Anna, (during our first weigh-in), and she made sure to spread the word to the other instructors, who all offered me many modifications. ||Scoring 1= horrible 10 = fantastic||Rock Springs Fit Farm 10||Biggest loser 6… ok place, put you are just a number there. Working out with 60 -80 other guest. Personally, I prefer to give my $ to hard working family, (who genuinely took an interest in me), rather than a corporation.||Live In Fitness AKA Fit for Life 0, google BBB.org and trip advisor also offers some reviews. When I complained to the BBB in 2017, there were so many complaints & lawsuits, Eric was busy trying to relocate to another state and re-open with a clean slate. Please do your due diligence and do not put any more $ into this sham...
Read moreI was in a rut and needed to reset my life with a structured eating, exercise, and health regimen. Fit farm helped me with those goals and more. There are many who visit these wellness retreat/ fitness resorts several times a year. This was my first time ever going on a vacation for myself. They include nearly 8 hours of exercise daily (there are planned rest days as well). People have flexibility to not attend, but in order to get solid health improvement results I just followed the crowd to every training and did what I could in my limited ability as I’ve been sedentary and overweight for years. The trainers were able to provide modifications to still be active and avoid injury. All of the staff seem to truly love their jobs and the massage therapist kept me functioning after the taxing days that left me sore.
I chose this location because I figured the food and friendliness would be in my favor with southern hospitality being a thing and I was correct. I was in the 1250 calorie meal plan and NEVER felt hungry and at times I was almost too tired to want to eat, but they taught me our bodies need consistent fuel so I did what they told me. The food was very delicious and they also accommodated others who had food restrictions or intolerances or even preferences. Some people do not like eating eggs everyday for breakfast, but they served it in a variety of ways. There are alternative meals and snacks if one chooses that keep one in the same macros. I really liked the additional amenities as I was able to get a facial, ionic foot detoxing bath, massage therapy, life coaching, nutrition counseling, and physical therapy for my shoulder that was injured some time ago. With their help and expertise with PT and massage, I regained my full range of motion in my shoulder!
They provide Styku measurements each week and after 2 weeks of following 90% of the program (as I missed a handful of training) I lost 8 lbs, 2.9% of body fat, and 19” overall on my body. Even more important, I don’t hate exercise anymore as I realize how much better it feels to be mobile and moving. I learned it’s important to feed my body consistently and it’s worth the extra effort as I’m worth it. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity at the Fit Farm. The pictures are legit, it’s as nice as it looks online and they are adding more services like a sauna. Hopefully, I can be a returnee in the...
