Awesome tiny homes. Being there felt like being in a neighborhood in the woods full of tiny homes. Great experience. Very quiet area but only 7 minutes away from a great pizza place, as well as target, and tons of other stores with anything you'd ever need. Whole place is shaded and the campground always felt way cooler then being in the hot sun in the city. Bikes available for use which was a huge plus, and we took advantage of that. The Longleaf rail trail is fantastic, and the nature along it is better then I expected. The trail is not crowded at all, especially riding in the direction away from Hattiesburg. Had a great vacation away from Georgia, visiting family in Mississippi during the day and sitting by the fire at night was relaxing. Hattiesburg area needed a place like this, and hopefully it sticks around and does well. Stay here, you won't regret it. My family 20 min from this place is planning on staying a weekend after we showed them pics. It is awesome, way better then any hotels and just as convenient. Very...

I absolutely love it here! I've been camping since I was a kid, and I often take a retreat of silence monthly. When I saw that an article about these Tiny Homes, I KNEW I had to stay! I stayed here a few months ago and was eager to get back. Last night I had an amazing peaceful time. It is not too far from stores, but far enough to enjoy nature. It is conveniently located walking distance to the Longleaf Trace. I was able to bring my own bike and ride a few miles last night and this morning. There are also free bikes to ride on site and I heard there will be e-bikes to rent soon! It would be worth staying one night and renting an e-bike to experience it on the Longleaf Trace!

Now... It is a tiny house. But the bed was very comfortable for me. The design of the home was great. I stayed at Hattie's Hoedown. I loved the firepit (very user friendly to start a campfire). The place cooled down very quickly. It was like going camping with luxury! Lol. I will be recommending this place to...

What a surprise! What a find! On our way back to Florida from a 6 week cross country road trip, my wife and I booked one of the tiny houses on the property, so we could be fairly close to the Long Leaf Trace bike trail. This place exceeded our expectations in every way.

Sean - the owner, was so kind, friendly and easy to communicate with ... simply a really nice guy. His property is located right on the bike trail. What a plus for those who want to ride it. Our stay in the tiny house itself caught us completely by surprise! It was super clean, comfy and tastefully appointed - - and quite simply - fun!

The property itself is very peaceful, quiet and relaxing, making it feel as though we had the woods all to ourselves. If we are ever passing thru Mississippi we would make it a point to stay here again - - even if we had no interest in biking the Long Leaf Trail. With the town of Hattiesburg being only several miles away, there would be no reason to stay...

The Longleaf Piney Resort is a collection of tiny homes in Hattiesburg, MS. This one is the Shindig, a pet-friendly option, has a gas stove, light and airy decor, and a loft with a queen bed. The futon converts to a bed, so the house sleeps 3. There is an attached deck. The gorgeous property is beside 44 miles of a paved bike path on the Longleaf Trace. Longleaf Piney Resort has assorted bikes to use, corn hole, bocce ball, super Jenga, fire pits, a Little Free Library, and disc golf. You can rent kayaks, golf carts, and e-bikes. It’s truly spectacular. My multi-gen family had a blast! Discover the charm of tiny living at Longleaf Piney Resort! 🌲✨ Our stay in the Humdinger was nothing short of magical. This tiny home comfortably sleeps 6, offering a cozy loft with a single and queen bed, a queen bed downstairs, and a futon for extra guests. The spacious bathroom and fully equipped kitchen made our stay incredibly comfortable. Humdinger is also handicap accessible. The covered back porch is perfect for lounging, and the lights strung throughout the resort transform the night into a twinkling wonderland. Whether you’re cycling around the resort, playing corn hole, bocce ball, or giant Jenga, there’s plenty to enjoy. Each tiny house comes with its own fire pit and hammock(s), so you can truly disconnect from city life and relax. Escape to modern comfort with a rustic touch—Longleaf Piney Resort is where nature meets luxury. 🏕️🔥 #TinyHomeAdventures #LongleafEscape #tinyhome #hburg #visitms @Visit Hattiesburg #longleafpineyresort #longleaftrace What’s your favorite part of tiny home living? Mom found this trail in her online travels, and she's always wanted to stay in a tiny house, so we started making plans. It was so convenient with thr trail right there, and it was so quiet. The beds were quite comfortable, but I couldn't help feeling like a little kid starting my decent from the loft on my back side. 🤣 I'm proud of myself for only hitting my head once. The place filled up our last night, but all was quiet when it got dark. Plenty of dead & down wood to burn in the fire pit, and we enjoyed our s'mores with the cool and dry weather. We were so lucky! Just a couple of little things (ha!), but the shower curtain needed a good cleaning, and a large bowl would have been nice. Being the gourmets we are 😜, we brought the mini waffle maker and had a leisurely breakfast one morning, but it was a little hard mixing up a batch in a cereal bowl. Definitely worth the 400 mi trip to make some good memories.
