The Innstead Mountain Getaway — Hotel in Haverhill

We visited the Innstead for a wedding in the area. We were very pleased with booking at the Innstead from the very start. They were very easy to book with, and they were great at sending out updates about our trip, property information, and suggestions of what to do during our stay, which was very convenient for us because we had never been to that area of VT before! Before our arrival, we received a friendly text giving us more specific information about the check-in process. As well as a personal message about the cabin we were checking in to. The cabin itself was amazing! A perfectly thought-out small home. Very nice finishes and furniture. They provide you with all your essentials for the kitchen and bathroom (pots, pans, utensils, strainer, coffee maker, trash bags, dish soap, sponge, mugs, cups, plates, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap... there wasn't anything they were missing!). A private feel even though there are other cabins nearby. The property was beautiful, and the doghouse was probably the thing that really put it over the top for us. The doghouse was a little cabin that had some games, books about the area, as well as yogurt, home-made granola, and all of your camp fire essentials - including s'mores sticks & ingredients! We had the absolute best weekend as a family. Siobhan and Bill took care of us as if we were family. They care for the property with heart and soul and it shows.

The house was well equipped with everything we could need on our vacation, including a fully stocked and ready to use kitchen, great linens, board games, a portable speaker, and amazing deck with furniture, and evening lighting. There was even so kids books for our littles to enjoy which was a treat.

The properly is community oriented, peaceful, well designed and has a purposeful focus on connecting with nature and the present moment. We left our phones behind and spent our four days exploring the trails both on and off the property - which as extensive.

Innstead Mountain Getaway is a hidden gem! We were lucky enough to have stayed with some friends in the Upper Guest House for two nights. The accommodations on the property are fabulous with all the amenities. The hiking and scenic vistas are unsurpassed! Our last evening was spent at the fire pit gazing at the stars and the rolling hills. We spoke with several staff members and they recounted stories of the evolution of the property. We were always met with enthusiastic staff and have nothing but high praise for their helpfulness and energetic portrayal of the area.
