At the End of the Road Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Hawaii

Lovely couple, very interesting to talk with, very knowledgable about sightseeing on Big Island. We had room with bathroom down hall...no problem for us. Another review commented about no curtain in bathroom....don't need one...lovely view out...no one else around! Beautiful views of lawn, trees and flowers everywhere...this really is at the End of the Road! Breakfast was simple, but adequate for us....fresh papaya, tea, waffles...we were asked repeatedly if we wanted more. Conversation at check in, at breakfast, and upon leaving, with both Lani and Ray, was entertaining. Such a friendly couple. 5 minute drive from Volcano Nat. Park. Will definitely go back next...

I had a fantastic two days in Volcano, to visit the National Park and see the live volcano! The icing on the cake was this gem of a guesthouse, situated really at the end of the road, only 5 or 6 minutes drive to the Volcano's National Park entrance! Ray and Lani are friendly and informative without being intrusive. The breakfast is a perfect way to start the day, fresh fruit, coffee, toast! The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, homely not impersonal like some hotel chains. I would definitely stay at this guest house again!. I'm already planning a return trip, even though it half way round the planet...
