When it comes to writing reviews, I am considered to be brutally honest and to the point! With that in mind, here it goes!!! First, the price: We were on a strict budget which required us to conduct a serious detailed investigation on the cost of various housing accommodations. When we explained to Kelly our situation, she not only adjusted the cost of our seven day stay, but also advised us that we would save a ton of money on breakfast as she would be cooking breakfast for all of us during our stay with her! Talk about more bang for the buck!!! Kelly did not disappoint!!!! Every morning we awoke to the delicious smells of Kelly cooking breakfast!!!! Second, the food: Every single day she had a different tasty breakfast served hot and ready! She also included various fruits and muffins!!!! Keep in mind we had four in our party!!!! Third, the rooms: We rented two out of three of the rooms in the house. The rooms were very comfortable and had a basket full of essentials waiting for us in each room which was another way to save money!!! Fourth, the service: OMG!!! We told Kelly about our granddaughter’s 5th birthday and our wedding anniversary, both of which would be celebrated during our stay at her rental. She not only purchased a beautiful anniversary card for my wife and I, but also baked a delicious cake for our granddaughter’s birthday!!! Awesome, right? But wait, there’s more!!! Kelly decorated the room with our granddaughter’s favorite Disney personality, The Little Mermaid, purchased her a little dress, set the place up with balloons special plates and napkins and took the time to celebrate with us! We have photos of Kelly dancing with our little Ann!!! We were pleased to visit a little with her husband, Roger, a couple of times and found him to be quite hospital as well as talented!!!! Needless to say, WE LOVE THESE GUYS!!!! Fifth, Security: Each room has its own security code!!! The property in fairly secluded and safe. The only uncomfortable element of this rental is sharing the bathroom with strangers. The master bedroom has its own bathroom, the other two rooms do not, but for the price, you can rent out the entire house and problem resolved!!!! Lastly, amenities: No pool, no hot tub, and no gym, but you are in Hawaii people! You got a lot of ocean if it gets too hot!!!! Get your workout hiking the cliffs, and the hot springs are only a short drive away!!! We recommend this B&B to anyone desiring to enjoy an affordable, comfortable, and immensely hospitable ohana experience!!!! We love you Kelly...

Amazing experience! We stayed here for just one night, but ended up wishing we had booked a longer stay here. Kelly was an extremely nice, warm, accommodating host! My husband was unwell, so we had to cancel our day trip. We ended up checking in super early (11AM) and Kelly was more than happy to accommodate us early so we could rest.

The location was so quiet and peaceful! The house/kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials (kitchen had plenty of utensils, lots of snacks for us to enjoy). The house was clean and well kept. The rooms were nice too (there was a small essentials kit provided as well - loved the small details). The breakfast in the morning was a great add! Breakfast burritos, fresh fruits, coffee/tea and of course Kelly’s fresh baked muffin. We lived Kelly’s muffin ( she baked them fresh even on the day we checked in ). Bathroom is shared between 3 rooms. We were alone in the house so this wasn’t an issue at all.

Overall, a great experience! Highly recommend this.

Just a small note - the location doesn’t have a lot of nearby...

Kelly is a fantastic, conscientious hostess, who's cooking skills are wonderful!! She was so thoughtful and helpful to us for planning our trip, and making our stay with her so great. She provides so many little details to make the stay more comfortable....basket of toiletries in the room, snacks and muffins in the main room, reading material for places to see around her.... And the house was IMMACULATE!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have like to stayed longer, if our itinerary had permitted it. We would highly recommend her Bed and Breakfast to anyone wishing to visit the Big Island!! Thank you, Kelly!!|Tina...
