Joey & Vivian are great owners and camp hosts! Last week was our 3rd time camping at Camp 64 on shooting creek. There are full hook ups, 30/50 amps, water & sewer in excellent condition at each campsite. They keep adding more and keep the grounds so pristine. There The bathrooms are brand new, including a nice shower. All the comforts, like home. There is a full size stackable washer/dryer in between the 2 nice bathrooms. $3 wash, $2 dry. The pole barn is completed and Joey is working on the attached bar. We always get "our" favorite spot when we're in town to see friends and our pups just love it there, just like we do. You can enter the creek at your own risk or sit and relax creekside by the firepit. The incredible view of the mountains surrounds you at camp or take a short drive to the top of Bell Mountain to see a breathtaking view of Lake Chatuge. We do love to go boating on that lake, which is 10 miles from camp. As great members of their community, they also have a helipad out front to aid in emergencies for the mountain area. We can't wait to come back every year to see our friends and see what's new at Camp 64!

Joe and Vivian are wonderful campground hosts, and have put a lot of time and sweat equity into improving their new camp. They still have a lot of plans for the future, but for the time being, I love the simplicity.

There are mountains to the front of the camper, and a beautiful creek behind the camper. Shooting Creek is more than just a trickle, you can canoe/ kayak/ paddle board this wide, rolling creek, and if you're feeling adventurous, you can take it all the way to lake Chatuge!

For the unadventurous, its easy to relax to the sounds of the creek, the birds and other wildlife...make a fire in the provided fire rings, make some smores...whatever you do, you are sure to enjoy yourself...

Great campsite where everyone feels like family. Vivian and Joey go out of their way to make you feel welcome and will help you with anything you need. Ronnie in the kitchen makes a mean burger and I hear some of the best biscuits around (sold out by 7am so I couldn’t try them). Then there was the live music that played for hours. It felt like we found the best kept secret around. Highly...
