We stayed last night. The bed was comfy and the room was cute but the known shower issues were terrible! We had read reviews about the hot water issue and thought maybe others were being fussy. We are regular people and knew that the ranch was not a 5 star hotel. We appreciate simple accommodations but even simple accommodations should have a working shower. When we checked in we were given the shower instructions. This morning we tried everything to get it to work. We were not in a position to have a maintenance person come in to get the shower to work after just spending some intimate time together. We decided to let the very nice manager know the problems we had. We were not asking for a refund but she said that if we were local the owner often gave gift certificates when problems came up but she was going to call the owner. She talked to the owner who then wanted to talk with me. Instead of apologizing, she asked me when I knew of the water issue and why I didn’t call maintenance. Terrible customer service by the owner about an issue that is known problem. The manager offered a $10 refund of the $100+ night stay. Shame on you! Read moreMy family and I have been going here for a very long time. It used to be such a wonderful place. We have not been back in 15 years but decided to stay there the 5th and 6th of July so we could fish the MO. Nothing really has changed the rooms are EXACTLY the same, small dated but comfortable. They toute that they have Internet and TV but none of that worked at all when we stayed. So you are completely off grid, as you get no cell service out there. The resturant is closed so is the bar so unless you bring food you need to go into Craig to eat. Not a bid deal they have some great places. My gotcha in all of this was being overcharged by over 100.00!! I imediatly discussed it with the person running the hotel but she said that only the owner could do the credits. I called before I left to go home and she assured me that she would get with the owner. I called again a week later and she said once again that it would be handled. Spoke again a week later and still was told not to worry I would get it. I am now having to go to my credit card company to file a complaint. I have the reciept and a reciept for what I owed when I booked the room and paid my deposit. I am so very disapointed and because of all the hastle is why I am giving...
