I had the most amazing morning at the Yorkie Acres Farm ! I loved that I was there right on time to feed the animals, Jeffrey and Bowie the farm dogs greed you along the cutest little goat and chickens & ducks! Every animal is so friendly I was there on a winter day cold but dress properly and you can still enjoy absolutely everything!! There is a little stream behind the cutest yurt where you can also have a lovely stay! I left the best for the end because you really don’t expect to see Highland cows that will lick you and eat from your hands!!! Listening to them and watching them interact w the other animals was amazing! Don’t forget to grab some hot tea In the apothecary and other goods that Jason wife’s has created! Jason was super informative and seems that they love the farm animals & take good care of them so you will have a great visit!

Yorkie Acres is one of my absolute favorite places to visit. It has become a family tradition. Jason and his family are wonderful. You are definitely missing out if you have not gone to visit. You will feel relaxed and at peace seeing the animals and then sitting with your feet in the water. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy a wonderful lunch in the pavilion. I can't wait to visit again next year. Thank you for another wonderful and memorable visits. Truly a gem of place. I'm already planning my next visit!!

Nice place! The owner was very friendly and answered all of our questions. He responded to our message on AirBnb pretty late and still allowed us to visit last minute. Definitely recommend bringing garden or working gloves to feed the animals since they have rough tounges and especially if it is in the colder months.

We were looking for a family-friendly farm to visit with our 2 year old daughter. Yorkie Acres Farm was well worth the visit! Rosie, the family Yorkie ran up to us as soon as we arrived. What a fantastic welcome! Shortly after, Jason, introduced himself and provided a tour of the farm which included a brief history of the property, the infamous Yurt, Buffalo Run and of course the many farm animals by their given names. Our daughter loved the interaction with the goats, the Scottish Highland's and Winnie the cow. Jason was punctual, respectful and a very knowledgeable host. Thank you very much for the hospitality! I previously read of someone making a donation, so I gladly followed suit. Jason encouraged us to take our time on the property - to spend time with and feed the animals, and donating to his family's working farm was the least that we could do!...

My wife and I spent the weekend on the farm and had the time of our lives! The Yurt is awesome and extremely comfortable. The cooking pavilion has a really cool stone fireplace and everything you need for cooking and dining on site. Jason and Alea were very gracious hosts, and Alea gave us a fantastic tour of the farm. Bowie, the farm dog, greeted us on arrival, and is VERY friendly. She is a total sweetheart! Sidney, one the cats visited us soon after dark. The next morning, we had a blast visiting with the many goats, and chickens who are also VERY friendly. We enjoyed giving them all treats. I was even able to sit down and snuggle with the farms Scottish Highland bull calf, Ronan. He, too is a total sweetheart. We are planning on making a yearly overnight stop at Yorkie Acres Farm! Highly recommended when you need to decompress....
