Best Western Hermiston Inn — Hotel in Hermiston

Honestly a nice place. Good location right outside of hermiston down the highway, only a couple miles from north 1st street, which has lots of restaurants, shops, and services. They have good parking for big trucks (minus the potholes in the gravel parking area), literally shares a parking lot with dennys, and they give a coupon for a free drink at dennys and also offer discounts on dennys meals if you show your room key. The room itself is nice, bed made beautifully, and the furniture is nice and in good shape, the bathroom has a door with a lock and the mirror is inside the bathroom, unlike some hotels. There is a minifridge and all the furnishings you'd expect, and the customer service is great, the front desk gave me a water and a cookie, they definitely make you feel welcome. This location of best western is well run and top notch, kudos to the owner(s) for running such a wonderful hotel, there are so many hotels these days that find creative ways to cut corners at the expense of guest sanity and comfort (I've stayed at a number of them that do this, so I speak from experience), this location is not guilty of that and it shows, so THANK YOU for not doing that. Despite being located next to a highway I find it to be extremely quiet and well maintained overall, they also have a variety of facilities for use. The only small thing I noticed is they didn't give me a shampoo bottle or hand soap, only got a body scrub and facial scrub bar, along with conditioner and lotion, but I stay at enough hotels that I have plenty of extras on hand so it was a non issue for me, and I'm sure the front desk would resolve it right away if I had called and let them know. An extremely minor gripe, and isn't worthy of taking a well deserved 5 star review from this location. It's a nice place, and I would highly recommend...

Good morning, I cannot speak highly enough about Best Western Hotel in Hermiston, Oregon. I stay there every time we visit family in Hermiston. The rooms are very clean and accommodating... Breakfast are always delicious, the kitchen breakfast attendant or breakfast hostess is very attentive towards the Continental breakfast that are served. The front desk attendant is Alyshia that works the day shift and Danny is the evening shift along with other others. They are all very warm and give excellent service to each of their customers. Alyshia is always very friendly and shows professionalism. Yesterday I was returning home and I received a phone call from Best Western. It was Alyshia. She said the maintenance person or grounds person had found my credit card on the ground outside the hotel. Alyshia showed such integrity and self-worth when she called me and told me they had found my credit card outside on the grounds of the hotel. I was able to turn around and go back to Best Western and get my Credit Card. So I was so appreciative Alyshia and her grounds person showed such integrity and self worth. Stayed here a hand full of times due to my fiance working in the area and us coming down to visit, your old manager Angie was amazing always gave us the best customer service and was so sad when she left she always made sure we had a great experience. I also want to give a shout out to Danny your front desk clerk as well he was also always so great to us during out stay. The only complaint I could give is you have another front desk agent who is a male I did not get his name but he is very very unfriendly and has horrible customer service...he made a few very unfriendly comments and it came to the point I stormed back down and gave him a few words myself for how unprofessional he was just becuz I asked for towels...he tried to tell me to leave the premises but that changed quickly when I told him no that he could call and speak to his manager becuz I would be in contact with her. Only reason I gave it the stars I did is becuz of Angie and Danny and also a big shout out to your house keepers becuz they were also always so great when showing up before check in and getting us in our rooms I always felt bad becuz you guys were booked the night before and they would drop what they were doing and get our room done so we could...
