Ruggs Ranch — Hotel in Hermiston

We had a fabulous weekend of upland bird hunting at Ruggs Ranch. Great and varied terrain along with great wild birds. The guides and the dogs were the best I've seen, plus we had the "hunt off horses" experience that was a great success and a ton of fun. The food was gourmet quality with five star presentation. Of course we enjoyed wild game based fare along with good wines to accompany. Yes, the chef really does go by "Cookie". We were well taken care of by all the staff. Wow what an experience to there 🐦 hunts back to there 5 star stay AND the food! Yum Yum! My guide i had Cord new his stuff had a very amazing time. Joe who i went out there with has one hell of a shot those birds never stood a chance. As a first timer like my self they really took care of me and I appreciate that alot very lucky to had this chance. We spent several days at the ranch and loved it! From the wonderful meals prepared for us by Keith, to the intimate and beautiful lodge, vast views, and comfortable surroundings - it was a memorable stay. We didn’t come to Ruggs for the eclipse, but what a bonus being able to view from the ranch!
