My fiance and I stayed at this RV lot for five weeks while we visited family and had some repairs done to our rig. The monthly rate was cheap ($435). The park is small, and almost full (there was one space that seemed to be kept open for overnight travelers).
Rent includes water and WiFi, and I think cable. Electric is billed separately, The WiFi is shoddy at best, and nonexistent at worst. We never experienced a good connection, and many times it was just down. This seemed strange, as we were next to the office.
The showers and bathrooms are clean, but that's more due to lack of use than cleaning on the RV park's part. Women's stalls have no locks, and the showers have curtains. Men's bathroom was often missing toilet paper, and there was never paper towels in either bathroom. The fan in the women's bathroom screeches something awful, and I only showered in the daytime to avoid the noise when turning on the light/fan switch.
This park is on the side of a hill, and the lots are not entirely level. However, the mountain views behind the park are fantastic. There is some nice hiking in the valleys below. The people living there full time are very friendly. There is an onsite laundry room, but it is always kept locked. We were supposed to receive a key, but the manager never had one made. We would either need to ask the manager to open the room for us (which was difficult, because she was only in the office for a few minutes every day), or ask a neighbor to let us borrow their key. I did like the large size of the machines.
There is a computer with a printer in the office (which is generally open from 11 to 5 pm, not the 10 to 6 that's advertised). My fiance actually set up the printer because it apparently hadn't been used before. There is a fax number for the office, but the manager will not let anyone use it, and will suggest going to the real estate office next door where they charge to use it. This was frustrating for us, as we had asked to use it on our last day at the park for urgent business.
Overall, this was a friendly, inexpensive place to stay for a month. The park is very clean. This is no RV resort, and management is very lax. If you are looking for somewhere with a clubhouse and pool, I'd look at Riverside or somewhere closer to LA. This could be a great place to stay with a little more attention from management. For us, it was conveniently located for hiking trips, shopping in Riverside, grocery runs, and day trips...
Read moreI came across a young lady today while searching for an rv park and I’ll tell you what!, I really miss the way the world used to be!!! I be Believe her name was sheryl and she went above and beyond to meet our satisfaction or beyond what we’ve ever been served in our five years of traveling. It doesn’t matter the facility, it doesn’t matter the space, When you feel like your money was appreciated and everything that you have expected is an abundance of what it should be. it matters that I felt at home when I was away from home she made sure that I was completely satisfied and I had everything I needed and then went above and beyond that just to make sure we were happy most people don’t care. People like that are hard to come by! I will definitely come back just because of the customer service I received this evening she is an amazing campground host with undeniable care for the business she needs to be recognized for it so that concludes this review what an amazing park with an amazing stay with amazing employees The Wi-Fi is amazing the TV is wonderful it’s DIRECTV the bathrooms are clean the laundry facilities were all available and easy to use the office offers books and DVD movies it’s not much more you could ask for at a cheaper rate of $35.99 because we’re seniors not too sure on the regular rate but we got a 10% discount thank you Oak...
