My fiancée and I stayed here for two nights as we were attending a wedding at Roca Ridge, which is only a couple of miles from Wunder Roost.||We originally chose Wunder Roost as it was significantly cheaper than the hotels in the area, and well-positioned for Roca Ridge, but we ended up getting so much more than we expected!||The owners, Jim and Kay, are very friendly and accommodating, and run a lovely, peaceful B&B in an old converted farmhouse. The four guest bedrooms are on the second floor, above the family home, and are accessed by a set of wooden stairs up to a shared balcony.||On entering, there is a shared common area with a small adjoining kitchen and shared bathroom. This area contains tons of books, DVDs, games, brochures for local activities, comfy seating and an authentic wood-burning stove (which we didn't need to use!). ||The common area, kitchen and bedroom were all tastefully decorated with vintage ornaments and farmhouse features. The common area also benefitted from an AC unit, whilst our bedroom had no AC but did have a large ceiling fan. We were also fortunate to have the bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Sleep quality was excellent, owing to the property's rural location.||The property also boasts a hot tub (which was, sadly, out of service during our visit) and is within walking distance to the excellent Capitol View winery - well worth a visit.||Finally, I MUST mention that Kay prepared home-cooked breakfasts for us both mornings, which were thoughtfully left in the fridge for us to heat up whenever we wanted them. She also kept the fridge stocked with juice, fresh milk, beers and water, and there was plenty of coffee available.||Overall, a fantastic experience, and we'll...
