Borglum Inn B & B was absolutely the best and most incredible choice we made during our 2 week travels from Hawaii. Sandra and Grant were amazing hosts - and the home was so clean, well organized, comforting and had everything you might need (TV, wifi, hot showers, plush towels, comfortable bed and pillows, etc.) great breakfast, etc. We had 2 couples in 2 of the 3 rooms downstairs and the peaceful and quietness was so relaxing throughout our 5 night stay. Borglum Inn was our base and we did daily excursions to many of the area sites (Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Badlands Nat. Park, etc). It worked out perfectly ! Sandra accommodated whatever we wanted for breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast, oatmeal, french toast, etc) so we were happy campers every day. In addition to delicious breakfast, Sandra would take time to chat with us and we honestly feel like we made a very good friend. It was also so nice to see all the different types of wildlife right outside the windows - which made it that much more relaxing and comfortable. If you ever need somewhere to stay in the area, skip over any hotel or inn and make a reservation at Borglum Inn B & B. You definitely won't regret it - and I must say - we drove away thinking we got a tremendous value, a wonderful stay and best of all met some good, nice friends. A giant mahalo...

First, let me say I highly recommend Borglum Bed and Breakfast! I would give 10 stars if I could! This was our first experience with a Bed & Breakfast. We stayed 13 nights and loved it! Sandra was the most gracious and friendly hostess! My husband Larry and I enjoyed talking with her so much! She knew all the best places around town to eat dinner and where to go to experience South Dakota attractions. And boy, can she cook!! You asked for something special (french toast for my hubby!), she took care of that! Everything fresh! More than breakfast, she made muffins for her guests and baked two pies too for after we came "home" from sightseeing! If you wanted to use the refrigerator to store your favorite soda or bring back leftovers from the dinner that was too much to eat, no problem! Sandra could not do enough for her guests. Her home is amazing! The guest rooms are comfortable, well appointed, have TVs on the wall and wait!!! A washer and dryer with laundry soap and dryer sheets/liquid are right near the guest rooms in case you need to wash your clothes! Awesome!! On top of that, we met wonderful people there! So great to chat with others who are also exploring the...

Top notch place to stay! Not only is Sandra a great host but her husband Grant has a heart of gold.

Sandra made us feel so welcome as we came in later than expected on a motorcycle the first night. Her breakfast was delicious and fresh. We had great conversations with her as well.

I had some issues with my small trailer I was pulling behind our motorcycle and Sandra mentioned her husband Grant could possibly help.

After speaking with Grant about the issue and while my wife and I were gone the whole day visiting the area Grant had not only repaired the problem but he went out of his way and installed the fenders back on my small trailer while my wife and I were eating breakfast inside and getting ready to pack up and leave on a 500 mile ride to another state.

I know I’ve said thank you many times to Sandra and Grant for everything but thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

You two made that 2022 motorcycle trip across 11 states such a memorable one.

God Bless the two...

My wife and I stayed one night. Sandra is a fantastic hostess, that was very responsive in all communications, with excellent recommendations for dinner and local attractions. The B&B is immaculate, brand new, with all the comforts of home (except you don’t have to make your own coffee and breakfast!) The builder (Sandra’s husband) did a fantastic job, as evidenced by the quality of the woodwork, ceramic tile work, and building floor plan. Location is perfect; close to many attractions yet so peaceful and quiet at night. Probably the most comfortable B&B we’ve ever stayed at. The deer photo was taken in the B&B driveway. One of 7-8 deer we saw in the neighborhood. Made you wish you lived their! We visited Mt Rushmore, and the Badlands. The bison was at one of the Badlands’ overlooks ( we did not get out of the car to take the photo.) the third photo needs no introduction. Would of liked to stay 2-3 nights, but our schedule wouldn’t allow us to do so. Would definitely stay at this B&B again.

My husband and I stayed at the Borglum B&B. It was clean, and had all the amenities. Nice chairs to relax in as well. We could use the streaming services on the television as a guest. Sandra made wonderful breakfasts. It was nice going over the places to visit with her and the other guests, finding out what were the best routes to take to see more and appreciate the beautiful scenery. The common area has a television, nice places to lounge, and a pool table. The B&B was centrally located to get to things. We were close enough to be able to go to Mount Rushmore, Hot Springs, Custer State Park, Deadstone, Keystone, Hill City, Crazy Horse, Rapid City, the Badlands, and the Wall. If we had planned to be there longer we could have gone to mare. The location was great.my husband and I would recommend staying here if you appreciate a quiet place with a lot of charm!
