I had the pleasure of staying at The Greystone, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation I had for a motel experience. From the moment I checked in, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that immediately made me feel at home.
The room was impeccably clean, well-lit, and thoughtfully arranged. The bed was surprisingly comfortable—clearly cared for—and the linens smelled fresh. Small touches like a mini fridge, and extra towels showed an attention to detail I deeply appreciated. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and I had no trouble getting work done during my stay.
What truly sets this place apart, however, is the staff. Every interaction was pleasant and helpful. Whether it was a friendly conversation at the front desk, quick housekeeping support, or helpful local recommendations, it was clear the staff takes pride in making each guest feel valued.
The location is also a big plus. The Greystone is conveniently situated near key attractions and gas stations, making it an ideal stop for travelers. Despite being close to the road, the rooms were quiet, and I slept soundly each night.
All in all, The Greystone offers comfort, cleanliness, and a level of service that rivals more expensive hotels. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for quality accommodations without the high price tag. Five stars...
Read moreI kinda feel like this place unfairly gets a bad rap but it was good by me. I stayed here about 10 days or so by myself. It was a convenient location for me to do most things that I wanted to do in the area. It was a decent deal in terms of expense. The room did smell bad initially but you quickly get use to it and then don't notice it. You mostly have to ring a buzzer on the office door to get someone to come to the front desk to buzz you in and help you. The middle aged white guy who works there did seem a bit grouchy but it was no big deal. Overall I liked him and he helped me with the few things I needed. The Indian guy at the front desk was good. From what I gather, this place was popular in the past for people wanting to stay at to have "special close encounters" and for other sketchy reasons. I don't however know if this is factually true and don't care. Lots of people go to motels all over the world just to have sex so big deal. It does seem to be an old place but I didn't care about that. There is a little coffee drive thru place right next to it which was nice. If you want a luxury place this isn't it. But if you want a simple, affordable, convenient place then I think it is quite good. Parking is super convenient. I had a good stay, have stayed here before and would do so again. I like the place. It has character. I...
Read moreMy stay was okay. The owners are friendly and, it's quiet. So I'm thinking okay, maybe it'll be alright. I walked inside and it looked horrible. It had a funky smell to it. There were these tiny holes in the walls everywhere and the wallpaper is torn away in some spots as if previous guests had thought maybe the walls had something to hide. Anyways that made me feel very uncomfortable which then made me look over the entire room because apparently you never know what people could have left behind. They take no effort in the maintenance and upkeep of the building.
The better thing about the place is the non smoking rooms. They are by far the best non smelly & clean rooms that they have to offer. All of the other rooms were very nasty, random unmatched stripes down the center of the walls. The curtains are so horrible that they just hang open by themselves even though you've closed them.
So that goes to show anyone that they are so lazy that they can't or won't attempt to go as far as even reinstalling the hooks back into the curtains so that they at least close and function properly. So absolutely no privacy with that unless you bring gorilla tape. No phones in rooms, no wake-up call services...pure garbage that costs you $60 + tax per night but is only worth $15 to...
