I had the pleasure of staying at Midway Manor while beginning my new role at Hyundai Motor Group Meta Plant America (HMGMA), and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The manor, nestled conveniently close to Richmond Hill and just a 40-minute drive from Savannah, is perfect for anyone looking for a tranquil retreat with easy access to surrounding areas.

The house itself is nothing short of spectacular. With 7 spacious bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, there’s more than enough room for large groups or families. The estate exudes classic colonial charm with modern amenities, offering the best of both worlds. The common areas are beautifully designed, from the expansive living room and formal dining area to the cozy fireplace reading nook and a versatile upstairs office space. I was particularly impressed by the range of amenities available – high-speed fiber WiFi, multiple 4K TVs, an Alexa-enabled sound system, and a Nespresso machine with gourmet pods, which made every morning feel like a luxury!

One of the highlights was the incredible backyard, complete with a porch that’s perfect for barbecues or simply relaxing with a drink at the bar. The jetted garden tub was an added treat after a long day at work, and the 6 AC units with zone controls kept the entire house comfortable in every season.

If you’re traveling with a large group, the owners have thought of everything: plenty of additional blankets and pillows, air mattresses, and even extra tables and seating for gatherings of up to 20 people. Every little detail is covered, down to the hair dryers, luxury linens, and a fully stocked kitchen.

Overall, Midway Manor provided a warm, comfortable, and luxurious stay that made my work transition much easier. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to host family reunions, weddings, or simply needing a peaceful home base. Our stay at Midway Manor was nothing short of exceptional! This stunning estate provided the perfect setting for our wedding weekend. We had six families staying here and also hosted a rehearsal dinner for 40 guests, offering ample space for everyone to relax and feel at home. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the grand architecture, inviting atmosphere, and well-appointed amenities. The kids were SO excited about the space—they stuffed the eggs, hid them, and then searched for them while we relaxed with coffee on the back patio. Midway Manor is truly an absolute gem and served as the perfect "home base" for our wedding weekend. We used this spacious home to host my new wife's three siblings and their young families, as well as some of our wedding party, during the festivities. It provided not only a comfortable space for accommodations but also a beautiful area for her and her bridesmaids to get ready in the bridal suite and an ideal setting for our rehearsal dinner.

The home easily accommodated 18 energetic kids and six families who stayed there for multiple nights. It also hosted our extended family during the rehearsal dinner with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The versatile event spaces were thoughtfully designed to suit the occasion perfectly. The formal dining room offered ample seating for everyone to sit and enjoy dinner, while the kids were able to head off to the living room for a movie or to the game room for some fun. Meanwhile, we gathered in the dining room to give out thank-you gifts and speeches.

The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and serve dinner for 40 people, which made hosting a breeze. Caitlen, Justin, and Derek were exceptionally attentive and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless, making the planning process seamless and stress-free.
