I recently had the pleasure of hosting my wedding rehearsal at Merrie Mill Farm and Vineyard. From the moment you walk through Merrie Mill’s doors, this quirky and colorful venue is truly unique. Once outside, the breathtaking scenery, exceptional farm-to-table style cuisine outside in the vines under twinkling lights, and unparalleled service made it a night to remember. To say the event was magical is an understatement. From the moment I contacted Elizabeth and Christopher, the level of customer service and care to make our night unforgettable was truly remarkable.

Picture an outdoor dinner amidst the lush, rolling vines of the winery, bathed in the golden glow of twilight. Working closely with Christopher, his meticulous attention to detail created an atmosphere that was both elegant and warmly inviting. Our wedding party can’t stop raving about this being the best event they’ve ever attended.

Each dish was a testament to the vineyard’s commitment to quality and local flavors, and the expertly paired wines elevated the evening even further. The staff’s impeccable service ensured that every aspect of the dinner went off without a hitch, from the seamless setup, fireplaces, music, and attentive care throughout the evening.

What truly stood out was the personal touch and genuine warmth of the staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, offering thoughtful recommendations and creating a personalized experience that made us all feel truly special. Their dedication and enthusiasm were evident, and they played a significant role in making the rehearsal dinner perfect.

We hosted a magical wedding for my daughter at Merrie Mill Farm and Vineyard this past weekend. Everything was truly amazing. The tasting room and property were in excellent shape. I could tell how much the staff cared about making a strong impression given the effort that they put into preparing the property for our event. The Pink Cottage is such an amazing benefit of having a wedding at Merrie Mill. Not only does it have a tremendous amount of character but it makes the day-of activities much smoother. Having an on-site facility for our daughter and her Bridesmaids to get ready in was tremendous. The coordination between Merrie Mill and C&O (our food caterer) was seamless. It honestly felt as if the 2 organizations have been working together on wedding events for many years. And lastly, the warmth and hospitality demonstrated by Christopher and the team at Merrie Mill was 5-star. So, thank you. The wine at Merrie Mill was also fantastic. This place is very cool on the inside but otherwise my experience was disappointing. First of all, came here with my husband and infant daughter. We don’t have family in the area or a sitter yet so we bring her along with us. luckily she is laid back, behaves well, and is relatively quiet most of the time. The staff was very attentive to all the groups except for us. It made me feel unwelcome and possibly singled out for having our child with us. There were flies EVERYWHERE. Now I expect a certain amount in wineries and breweries but this was unreal and super annoying. The tasting was super expensive and you can’t chose which wines you want. The glasses were dirty and there was a small piece of glass floating in mind. I went to the counter and tried to be discreet about it with the guy so the other groups didn’t hear but he completely brushed it off and didn’t even apologize.
