My husband is from Holtville, CA and we currently live in Northern California. We visit Holtville once or twice a year to visit his family and like to stay at Barbara Worth's because of their uniqueness, hospitality, and competitive rates. Now that it's under new ownership, they 're continually upgrading the premises. We had the pleasure of meeting the new owners and one of them was very helpful in assisting my husband load a car on our trailer. We love the Caddies Sports Tavern where the locals hang out! Great hidden gem in Holtville! If you are on your way outside of San Diego and need a quiet staycation, respite from the road, seek refuge from the big city, need large parking lot for your car or truck, want to hit the 18 hole golf course, or maybe you just want to veg in a secluded safe spot and hear birds chirping only - here is the place.Rooms with comfortable new beds and interior bathrooms with glamorous sink and the largest showerhead by Pfister ever! In between no where and no where else. Currently under new ownership and they have remodeled all the rooms. The management is a great resource. The contractors were pretty shabby.

Rooms are clean and there is a mystic attraction to this facillity others have stated it is a great place to see ghosts. Not for us, it has its challenges but consider the price the room value is much higher than they charge.
