Royal Inn — Hotel in Honea Path

We stayed for about 8 months and was thrown out due to mold on our ceiling and our floor coming up . If you want a cheap motel with crappy management that always has an attitude and hates cats and a motel that does a crappy job fixing things this motel is for you. If you stay for a while Ms. Joan, the property manager will show her true colors. She is rude and she will talk about you no matter what you do. She will make it to where you will leave voluntarily or involuntarily. She will pick fights and don't get me started about her conspiracy theories she tries to get you to believe. everyone there pays different rates including her daughter. They have roaches and the bug man sucks. They don't provide you with anything so be prepared to clean everything yourself and bring all your necessities. Sinks are always stopped up and leaking into other rooms. There is too much else I could say but I'll leave it at that. DONT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE...

This is a very cheap hotel that has recently changed owners. I have stayed there twice since. The 1st time I went in and noticed blood on the sheets and hair. The room obviously hadn't been cleaned so I went back to the desk and was given clean sheets for myself to change the bed linens. On my second stay I made it a point to ask the clerk if the linens had been changed in which he assured me they had. Having worked in the hotel industry previously in the housekeeping dept I examined the beds when i got to my room. Again I found hairs makeup etc in the linens and went back to the desk. This time to be given 1 sheet, no pillowcases and no top sheet. We like to have froze overnight and they refused to make it right even after we realized we had been eaten...

The price was fair but the quality of the accommodations didn't lend to a good night's sleep. The walls apparently have very little insulation so you need to set the thermostat about 10 degrees higher than you normally would as the room wouldn't retain heat. Also the walls are so thin the noise of passing cars may affect how deeply you sleep. The water temperature in the shower was unadjustable. On and off were the only options.
