Schrutè Farms — Hotel in Honesdale

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Schrute Farms AirBnb in Honesdale, PA. From the moment I stepped foot on the property, I was blown away. The grounds are stunning and meticulously kept. The house itself is a beautiful building with all the amenities you could want. The bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are spotless. I also enjoyed the fully-equipped kitchen and dining area, as well as the cozy living room.

The hosts of Schrute Farms AirBnb went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. They provided us with all the necessary information before our arrival and were readily available if we had any questions during our stay. They also provided us with a list of recommendations for local restaurants and activities, which was extremely helpful.

If you’re looking for a five-star resort with luxury amenities—go somewhere else. But if you want an authentic agritourism experience complete with beet-stained hands, questionable historical reenactments, and the occasional threat of wolf attacks, Schrute Farms is the place for you.

The rooms? Rustic. The beds? Firm enough to realign your spine. The breakfast? Beets in ways you never imagined (and maybe never wanted). Dwight Schrute himself gave me a personal tour, which included a riveting lecture on manure. I was also forced to participate in a barnyard wrestling match against Mose. I lost.

Overall, 10/10 experience—would return, but only after mentally preparing for another round of beet wine and Schrute family...
