I live in the Midvale/Sandy area of Salt Lake metro, and LOVE escaping the city and heading to northern Utah... Once you're north of Ogden, ahhhhhh!!!! Now, a wonderful new gem awaits in Honeyville, only an hour north of Salt Lake City... The Camelot Inn! This is a brand new Inn located right off I-15 exit 372, right down the road from Crystal Hot Springs. It features comfortable modern rooms, TV with hookups (should you bring your own portable DVD player), radiant heat (no noise!), full private bathrooms, WiFi, self check-in and checkout... I stayed in hotels on a family trip overseas but this is much more. A shared FULL kitchen awaits and fridges in the room (and a full one in shared kitchen) you can bring food and cook just like you're at home, then eat in kitchen or take the handy tray from your room and carry it back. No need to do laundry before coming, just pack it with you and do it here! Thinking about a weekend getaway with your family, someone special, or just yourself? Maybe a nice soak in the mineral pools at Crystal Hot Springs? Well don't wait until Saturday anymore... Book a room and come up Friday!! If you need anything, Brigham City exit 362 (10 miles before Honeyville) has a Walmart and other establishments... So... You can get off work in Salt Lake area... Throw some clothes and a toothbrush in a bag and GO! Everything you need is right here at Camelot Inn, your new home away from home! Come Friday, soak, sleep over, in morning have breakfast at JC's Country Diner just several minutes away...more soaking... Then lunch or dinner at Maddox Ranch House in Brigham on way home... Or stay a second night and soak in the pools some more! What a TREAT to be able to stay so closely with all the amenities instead of driving back. ~Scott R., Midvale, Utah, USA
WOW What a great time: WOW What a great time: -My kids had a blast; -No hassles; -Very comfortable rooms like a 5** hotel with access to a kitchenette, for the price of a 3 hotel; -With access to fixing a meal -Just minutes away from the #1 place to get the best hot and cold water in the world; -Don't be fooled by imitation hot pots; -They have mineral water that you can soak in and the best drinking and purest water in the land; -You cannot get a better deal for a place to sleep and watch what you want on your DVD player; just hook it up and bring your movie for a great time; plus the comfort of the security that is there; -Not a regret spent the whole weekend; -With radiant heat you dont have the warm air blowing in your room just a warm floor :-) Thanks Arthur for a great experience. ~Carl S., Woodscross, Utah, USA
Arthur the owner of Camelot is a really nice guy willing to help out with anything! The rooms are very nice, they have a modern look to them. So if you like a very elegant look and feel you should check out Camelot Inn when you're in the area! These rooms also include passes for two people to the best mineral pool in the U.S. ... thumbs up for this, I will be going back. ~Corey S., 15 years old,...

Our stay reminded me of our honeymoon in Hawaii. No air conditioning, only ceiling a fan and small table fan that was utterly in adequate to the point of waking up in a pool of sweat and despair. In the morning there is a choir of nearby roosters to ensure your early wake up. When you try to cool off at night, opening the window, you’re immediately greeted by the sweet sweet aroma of skunk as well the town’s choo choo train throughout the night. The window drape is too short and people can see you from outside, naked as the day you were born. The bed has an oversized wood frame and is sure to take a large bite of your shin when the opportunity arises. The bed itself was hard and rickety and too small as to ensure you’re extra close to that special someone you can’t quite get comfy with. The lights are all on timers. So when you do finally get that chance with your one and only with a loved filled gazed peering into one another’s soul the lights go out robbing you of that cherished moment.
Pros? The ceiling didn’t leak and the shower was warm enough. The room itself was very well decorated and very very clean. Check in was sleek. A very clever spin on a hotel / hostel. It is also very close to the crystal hot springs which was aboauletly amazing and by far the best private hot springs I’ve ever and will likely ever be to. Perhaps the Camelot’s only saving grace.
I was also disappointed that it was not medieval themed. That would have been a nice play with the name.
In the end you get what you pay for. My wife was very very happy the accommodation. Granted she is thriftily frugal to the point of diminishing returns. I would have rather spent the extra $50 and stayed at the holiday inn...
Read moreUpdate: Tried to stay here a second time shortly after my first visit. Evidently its too inconvenient for the owner to allow you to stay the same day you call....at least on a Sunday anyway. They were happy to hear from me so quickly, yet they sounded put out when I wanted to check in without a prior reservation. I guess they have too much money and didnt need my cash. Too bad...I ended up staying nearby for another nine weeks.
Original post: I've traveled extensively to all but four US states and also to several countries. The Camelot Inn is by far the cleanest and most homey place I have stayed. The check in process was different to say the least, but very well thought out for a remote location without on site registration staff...semi-amusing and refreshing. It was the perfect place to stay for my temporary asignment in a neighboring town. The best part...it felt nothing like staying in another run of the mill (average or upscale) chain hotel. Will definitely return if I'm ever in...
