The hosts were great. The facilities were clean and well-kept. The campground earns 4 stars if you're camping with a group of friends and cars, but only 2 stars if you're seeking a bit of seclusion and privacy. As other reviewers have highlighted, the campsites are only separated by a few feet.

I agree, the campground is spotless! But the site I was in (5) was, right on top of site (4). Unless you have a big group, I’d steer clear of renting these spots. And the grill wasn’t big enough to cook on. Very disappointing.

I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a better taken care of campground. It’s clear that the host, who don’t even stay in the camp, but another camp miles down the road, take pride in their work and do a great job. I have never witnessed better maintained restrooms. Even though they’re only vault toilets, they’re far above what anyone would expect. Most public restrooms and rest stops fall behind these and even some people’s houses. We stayed in site 2. The site was great. It was large, had a nice clean picnic table, caught some of the morning rays and a little of the early afternoon sun. Thankfully, it was well shaded from the warm late afternoon sun. All sites were clear of excessive overgrowth, while still maintaining foliage close around them. While our site was great, some of the ones around us appeared even better. Site 0 looks great, with thick trees and coverage to the rear and openness to one side with a boarder of nice trees to the other. The only downside may be that it is nearest the entrance and road. That combined with its open area facing the entrance, most people likely think those camping in the spot are the host. Site 1 was the smallest of those around, but not in a bad way. Tightly grouped tress hugging around the site gives it a feel of isolation we didn’t see elsewhere. Site 2 (where we stayed) was great, overall, but felt like the most open of the 4 sites, with less tree cover to 3 sides. Sites 2 and 3 shared a large open area between the two of them that seemed a little odd. As if they were either part of a large group site at one time, or there was a small site in-between them. It wasn’t horrible, but didn’t feel like it was supposed to be that way. Site 3 may quite possibly be the best. While it does share the open area with site 2 (would be great for two parties camping together) has nothing bad to be said about it. Being across from the toilets, is a great plus, but so is 2 and 1 and 0 are only a few dozen more feet away. The greatest perk to the site is that it’s butted up nearest the river, with easy access and a great view. The front is a little sparse with cover, but it has a great barrier of trees all along the side without another site right next to it. We’re already looking forward to our return. Thank you for the...

Quiet, cute lil campground. Sites are $12/night. Only 15 sites. No host. There are several bathrooms. When I went (June 2022) the one water pump wasn’t working so I had to drink river water. The road it is next to is hardly used. Only two places you can access the river from, both which require you to walk through campsites (luckily no one was staying there). There’s a trail next to campsite but it sucks. Not well maintained and turns into complete incline on muddy trail, so we turned around.

Sites 0 - small 1- small 1-2-3 all side by side, great for a large group 3- access to water 4-5- two large side by side. Good for groups. 6- secluded. Large. 7-8: medium. Side by side. 11- long and skinny. Secluded. Smaller compared to others 12-13-14: large for a group. Access to river. 15- pretty big sure but lots of trees throughout camp, so not...

This is a quiet, well-kept campground in the beautiful Gifford Pinchot National Forrest. The sites were a little dusty, but that was to be expected. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest vault toilets I have ever come across. They were not smelly at all and were super well maintained. The Little White Salmon River is more like a creek in this area (no more than shin deep), but was a fun area to poke around and cool off. There was a dumpster at the entrance of the campground and also access to well water. We didn't encounter any mosquitos, but there were plenty of pesky wasps trying to steal food from our plates. Keep in mind the nearest store is 35 min away so come prepared or prepare to drive a ways. Overall a wonderful spot to disconnect...
