Camp Copperhead — Hotel in Hoot Owl

Review to come after visiting again next month for the 3rd ever Midfest (Mid-Continental Liberty Festival).

Was there for the second one in April. Beautiful area, nice people, and owner. Great place to get out into nature!

I actually met the owner while there and didn't know it until later!

We were having a great conversation then he took me around the grounds a bit (as i had been walking peacefully around enjoying the scenery and sunshine) and showed me a lot of artifacts/etc and explained the background behind a lot of things. Just wonderful!

I love it! Now I hear they have made some upgrades and changes, such as a heated pool, among other things.

I absolutely love it at Camp Copperhead! From festival time to everyday camping it’s a place to get in touch with nature but still have amenities and people near by. Nestled away just a short drive from town and right down the street from a couple of other places too, this location is ideal for those looking to get away but not go to a secluded place. It was our Firsts time there we had a blasted with our friends Zip and Kim and others we meeted their ! Great bands , fun events to watched , good food , great campgrounds to camp at !
