This was a lovely venue. The barn and gazebo were gorgeous. Unfortunately, our interactions with the owner made certain parts of wedding planning and our wedding day unpleasant:
(1) 2 weeks prior to the wedding, we were informed that there would be another wedding taking place on the same day as ours, but in the mansion. We were using the barn so it wasn’t a problem, but we were told at our initial meeting that the whole property was available for photographs. Again, not a big deal. However the owner sprung a $200 fee on us to have someone available to direct traffic to the appropriate parking lot. Quote “it will be chaos” if we did not pay the fee. We put out a sign and told people where to park ahead of time. It was fine.
(2) we were told the gazebo had power for speakers and a microphone. There was no power. We had to scramble to get an extension cord several hours before the ceremony.
(3) we were told the stove in the kitchen was working two weeks prior to the wedding. Our caterer discovered quickly that they were not working. We asked to use the warmers and the owner requested an additional $50 fee to use them - although we were using them because her equipment didn’t work. In the end, after we bargained with her son, we didn’t pay.
(4) the owner drove a gold cart up and down the gravel driveway during our ceremony and guests had a hard time hearing our vows.
(5) the owner followed our very sweet caterer around the kitchen, telling her what she could and could not do, making it difficult to prepare the meal at all. She accused our caterer of stealing soda syrups.
(6) the brides mother opened an unlocked cupboard while setting up. The owner was very rude, telling her she should have asked and made her feel terrible. Again, an unlocked cupboard.
(7) we very quickly ran out of toilet paper rolls and paper towels in the restrooms. There were very few rolls supplied.
(8) immediately after the ceremony, the owner brought her golf cart to load up the chairs. We had to do wedding pictures while dodging her in the background. This wasn’t a big deal but it was frankly just a little annoying.
Other things to be aware of: the bridal suite does not have a great table so we brought our own. not very handicap accessible due...
Read moreI’m the father of the Bride. I also have a Jeep, which means I don’t have a lot of money. But with several kids, I only have one daughter that required a wedding. It was my job to provide that wedding and I had high expectations for myself. The Naimoli Estate venue had everything we needed in one place with variable options to fit our budget - from the wedding, to the rehearsal dinner, to the reception, and even lodging for out of state guest. Everything that was promised by the estate was provided and then some. We were allowed to do as much or as little as we wanted, and when we fell short on our own plans, Wendy (the owner) and her staff were there to cover for us without hesitation. Now that I’ve seen it, I can’t imagine a bridal party trying to get ready anywhere else other than the “Bridal Suite” at the mansion. The memories created there can only be surpassed by the wedding itself. We didn’t get the full package, but we didn’t get the smallest package either. It was a simple wedding, but had all the elements of a royal one, which my daughter deserved. Had the Queen of England shown up we would not have been ashamed at this venue. There’s a reason the father is responsible for the wedding. It’s to make sure the daughter gets the wedding she wants and deserves. Make it easy on yourself and check out Naimoli Estate. You and your daughter will be...
Read moreWe toured last January (2020) & reserved a Saturday in May 2020. My son & I placed a deposit down & then COVID hit.... well, I understand that NONE of us were expecting anything like that. I've been debating now for over a year to leave a review & after speaking with others that had reserved & paid for other wedding venues in Nashville to say the least, it was best I do. For they received most if not ALL their deposits back, this lady, WENDY was very determined & even had it in her agreement that "under no act of God or Government" and she had NO intentions of even offering a refund. She did, however, offer to let him choose another date for this year 2021, BUT that her prices were going up. So, I’m thinking "HELL no". Although the grounds were beautiful, the lady that owns & runs this had no compassion for a young couple already upset that they could not have their wedding. She is a good salesperson though, she made them believe it was all about them & their day.... until their day couldn't happen because KY had shut down pretty much everything last May. She's not about the couples, she's about the almighty dollar. I'm sure she received the Federal $ from COVID as well as all the deposits she had been paid while my son LOST his 2,965.00 !!! Stay away from...
