Marilyn, I'm so sorry I'm eight months late with my review! Lots of traveling this year.... We stayed with Marilyn at the end of April this year (2016) after learning about the awesome quartz crystal mining in the western Arkansas area. We're from Colorado and had never been down this way before. I searched for the best mines in the area, and then searched for RV parks near there. We have a 26' travel trailer, and Marilyn's was an awesome location to access these mines. Her place was cozy and intimate and very safe. We loved our stay! She's got full hook ups but also a bathroom/shower area accessible to just to campers. She's got a laundry room, as well, and a trash area. She's got a quaint country store attached where I made some really unique purchases. Her bath salts are to die for! Just ask for something you need, and she'll make it happen. I still miss being there! I felt like family leaving and was a little teary eyed. I recommend this RV park to anyone. Whether you stay a week or for months. Please give Marilyn's a call if you are in the area! We'll be back again, Marilyn (and Anne who was just as awesome :-) Ya'all know how to give a little Southern hospitality! Read moreAttempted to stay here on our trip to Florida. Lady working there seemed nice and we parked and started to set up camp. Less than 30 minutes after we got there, power went out to the whole town. We stayed for about 3.5 hours and still no electricity. We have animals that travel with us, and they weren’t handling the heat too well, so we found another spot nearby. When we asked for a refund (knowing the power issue was out of her control) she reluctantly refunded half our fee, stating it wasn’t policy to do so. I know the power wasn’t her fault, but come on....a little customer service...
Read moreThinking of staying here? Don't. Bathrooms are only unlocked for a short period of time per day. Her amps are incorrect for a camper and can only run either the AC or the microwave. Not both. The AIR B&B on her page? It's one of two things: rundown mobile home or rundown camper. She said it's cute and modern, but it's not. It's incredibly rundown and for sale, so don't expect her to be around to help with ANYTHING. She doesn't answer phone calls or texts reliably. Save yourself the headache. Go to the National Park to stay. You will have better amenities. She's not saving...
