I did see the reviews before we booked. I understand you are in the woods as mentioned on this places website. I will try to be fair taking that into consideration. Internet service is non existent. Could not even make a phone call. The water is reportedly from a well. It has a very bad odor. As well as the discoloration. The water pressure issue would make it nearly impossible to shower. The room itself had a very unpleasant musty odor. As seen in the pictures. The window isn’t sealed around the ac unit. Also some very evident water damage that is barely repaired. The layout of the room was strange. A full bed and a twin. The headboard of the twin was in the closet area. You therefore cannot hang anything up. The footboard is up against the headboard of the full size bed. The sink is also in this sleeping space not in the bathroom. This room was in the White House. We had our own pillows thankfully. The sheets and comforter did look newer. There was no service to speak of. You got a key that was about it. No point in complaining about anything. You’re in the woods after all 😂. We had friends in the camp ground. It is a hillside just so you are aware. The facilities for the campground were an outhouse. This place does have access to the trails.

We had a wonderful time here camping with friends, some of whom stayed in the lodge and cabin. The "suite" is extremely spacious and has all the comforts of home and a beautiful view out a large window. We spent some time here visiting and playing a board game. The cabins are also both very nice with lots of room. We stayed down in the camping area in tents and there were 5 of us on 2 sites. We had the whole place to ourselves! The sites were small but we spread out since we were alone. This is a wonderful place to get away from it all:: Especially for adults. My kids (9 and 13) were often bored as this is not a KOA. They dealt with it as it was only one night and we brought games and baseball stuff. There are a couple of trails to wander on too. I would very much recommend this wonderful place!

Camping at The Forest Lodge & Camp grounds in Pigeon, PA It was a great experience for us. Not far from town for fuel, food if you choose to dine out. Not far from riding the ATV trails. There are different events through out the year I recommend looking at the schedule with the visiting bureau of the state of Pennsylvania.

For the price, this was a huge disappointment. We stayed in the cabin, and will not return again. No running water, which is fine.. but when we checked in, we weren’t told where to find the bathrooms/showers. A camper was parked in front of them blocking them, but we eventually found them. The cabin was filthy. Mouse droppings every inch of the place, including in all of the cupboards! The building smells horrible, the beds smell even worse. There’s mouse poison containers, and ant traps all over. The “high speed Wi-Fi”, is non existent. The air conditioning is ”cool” at most. We slept on the “sofa beds” with our toddler because the beds smelled so bad. The two rooms with twin beds had spider webs EVERYWHERE. The carpet was not clean. The lighting is horrible. To turn the kitchen light on, it also turned on a bedroom light so if you were to have someone sleeping in there, you couldn’t turn a light on. Nobody bothered us, which was nice. We stayed past check out, and they were understanding. Only positive I have, is it was right by the trail. We will...
