This campground has beautiful views in the fall. We rented 2 cabin's for 2 nights as it was fall and we had children in our group and were unsure of how cold it would be at night. It turns out that it was a beautiful fall weekend so tents would have been fine but we really enjoyed having the cabins to not have to put up/take down our tents. We rented Jon boats during our stay and had a lot of fun! There was a very nice fireworks show on Saturday night which was a pleasant surprise to us! I gave a 4 star (wish I could leave 4 1/2 star) due to the fact that one of our picnic tables broke (it was on the verge of breaking when we arrived to the site on Friday) and it took a long time from the time we told the front office to when we had a replacement brought to our site. That is no reason for us not to come back next year though, just a small inconvenience during our trip. I have stayed at multiple different camp grounds around Indiana growing up and this one by far has the best shower's/restrooms. The staff are very friendly and seem proud of their camp ground as they should be because it is very beautiful with lots of activities! 2 different playgrounds for the kids, a swimming pond, a fishing pond, boats to rent, zip lining, trails in the woods! It is a great place to take your family!

You can zipline across the lake, fish, walk trails, rent a boat, rent a golf cart and more. I went to relax so all I wanted was a fire on one side and the lake on the other (They had that too). The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because of the cabin price. We went on a weekday. We had 5 teenagers and three adults. The cabin sleeps 4-5 people which I knew that. However, there are no refunds after booking. The weather called for thunderstorms. The two teen boys planned to pitch a tent out back. Because of the forecast we ended up renting a second cabin. I asked if it could be discounted but they would not do that. Also, since there are no refunds they may consider Mounting a TV on the wall for those prices.

Cabins and campsites with full hook ups, electric only and primitive camp sites. Beautiful place with fantastic staff!! All sorts of camping accomodations for one night or more. Prices are great per night or for longer stays. They even have golf carts you can rent! They have a Zipline course that goes throughout the campsite and over the lake. Boat rentals to fish, a beach to swim in or lounge on the clean white sand and bathrooms with separate shower rooms. There are trails to walk through the woods and a playground for the littles. This is a great place with something for everyone. It's quiet here too, people respect the rules and that's nice. It's cozy and comfortable, I highly recommend.

I have traveled a lot but never written a trip review. I feel compelled to share my horrible experience w/this property. It would be impossible to include every frustrating, creepy or maddening detail, but I’ll give a few.||* False expectations: I knew I would be arriving kind of late if I arrived Friday night, but I was assured someone would be in the office till 9PM. When I arrived at 8:20PM, no one was there and my paperwork and a map were pinned to the office door. I understand everyone is short-staffed right now, but if it was a possibility they would close the office early, they could have said that. I would have just booked for Saturday, rather than try to find my way in the dark with no instruction!||* Difficult and frustrating to find site: I had to find my own way in the dark using an inaccurate/vague map and there is literally no signage anywhere. It was awful and took me at least 45 minutes. I ended up on a narrow road at one point (maybe it was a trail?) and a tree scraped the side my SUV. Just got my estimate: $1038||* Sites too close together: my site and the one next to me were virtually on top of each other. Some sites were literally right along the road. Not secluded.||* Cars coming and going and partying late: at this point I decided not to mess with my tent for the first night and just sleep in my vehicle. I was prepared to do that, including bringing a luggable loo and curtains for the windows of my SUV. Vehicles were coming and going with their headlights on, people were partying, singing and shouting still at 12:00/12:30. I had had enough and I left.||* Rude staff: The first person I talked to Monday morning when I called to share my experience was lovely. When she put me on the phone with her manager, he was very condescending. He did refund my $50, but I just really wanted someone to listen to my feedback and take it seriously, because I would never want someone else to have the same experience. At one point he stood by their Google rating, as if my feedback weren’t valid. Since he was so unreceptive, I’m writing this review as my only other means of improving the situation for the next person (although, I would not recommend staying here!) ||PS: this wasn’t a dealbreaker for me, but I totally get other reviewers references about the weirdness of the place and all the religious quotes everywhere - I too have described it to friends as feeling a little too “children...

I made reservations for a Saturday night stay. Here is my experience:

Spoke to Tiffany on a Wednesday about the one night stay. Tiffany made clear that refunds would not be offered if my cancellation was less than one week before the reservation. In other words, if I missed Saturday, I ate the cost.

Arrived Saturday about 4:30 PM. Al and Tiffany were very busy, but very gracious in helping us out.

We bought firewood which was delivered. I did not think it was overpriced. Of course, moving firewood is illegal. For the cost-conscience, campers could purchase certified heat treated firewood elsewhere.

Since we have a popup with no bathroom, we used the camp bathrooms and showers. I showered about 10 pm; toilets were clean as well as the showers.

A lot of noise from kids and other campers. There were a lot of happy campers. Magically, at 11 pm, we had silence.

We did no fishing or zip lines. We left about 10 am Sunday.

Camp was located about fifteen minutes from the Two EE's winery.

Since we spent only one night at the grounds, my review may miss deficiencies. However, my wife and I had been camping with popups as well as tents for better than four decades, so our "spidey sense" usually detects a poor campground. We want to come here again for a longer stay. If bad things happen...
