BEWARE!! Staff are not friendly! . Breakfast is horrible! Dimple is the man’s name whom said was in charge. We had an emergency and had to come down to save a family member. When on the ride down we tried making a reservation. The website Cliched and we took many pictures of the website malfunctioning. After selecting our room and placing the reservation we get to the hotel and it’s for the wrong date. The same man told me I could cancel it. I showed him that the website was not working and needed to be refreshed numerous times. That was the problem for the date mix up. He still mentioned I could cancel. So I did, well lo and behold he refused a refund for the date that was wrong and would not reinstate the reservation. We ended up staying with a friend at the hotel. We picked up their last room and stayed the next day. When entering the room, hair was all over the bath tube. Things were on the toilet “ it looked horrible” and the sheets looked like they were reused. I reached out to Expedia and they reached out to the hotel. The hotel refused to refund my money or make it right. The day that was mixed up was for 2 weeks from the day we needed and since we canceled it the hotel refused to reinstate or refund. We have had many stays at this hotel and we will no longer be returning to this hotel! There are way to many hotels around find one other than this!
Update to Dimples reply: Sorry for the assumption of name. We did not eat breakfast on the day we stayed with friends. Just on the day we booked! We went and checked out the variety that you exaggerated about and went to pink doughnuts in St George. The only thing remotely edible was the waffles. Speaking to you on the phone and you choosing to raise your voice over this review just justifies it more. Take your money to the many hotels in St. George. Do not give this one your hard...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying here at the Comfort Inn and Suites during my vacation, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The hotel's location couldn't be better, situated just a short drive from Zion. Each day, we found it incredibly convenient to explore the park's stunning landscapes while having the comfort of our cozy accommodations to return to.
The check-in process was smooth, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well-lit, providing a relaxing atmosphere after our long days of hiking and sightseeing. The bed was particularly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep before our adventures.
One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast served each morning. There was a nice variety of options, from fresh fruits to hot items, which helped fuel our daily adventures. The dining area had a lovely view of the mountains, making breakfast feel even more special.
While our stay was mostly enjoyable, there were a few minor drawbacks worth mentioning. The Wi-Fi connection was a bit spotty at times in our room, which made streaming our favorite shows challenging. Additionally, the after hours snack selection was nonexist, which meant that we had to venture out to grab something more than the vending selection.
Despite these small hiccups, I would highly recommend the Comfort Inn and Suites to anyone looking for a great base while visiting Zion. The friendly service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location make it a solid choice for nature enthusiasts. I can't wait to return on our...
Read moreBeware of possible scams! I reserved a room on Thursday for a check in on Saturday. Upon arrival, the front desk was unable to find my reservation. After giving them my reservation number that was texted to me, I was told that I had called the same evening that I booked the reservation and canceled the reservation. This never happened. I explained that I had never called back that night and confirmed my phone number with the phone number that the cancellation had called From. Some weird phone number from northern Utah with 801 area code, not even close to my number or area code. The front desk was very non-understanding about the situation and would not do anything for me. They claimed that they had confirmed MY name and reservation number with the caller upon the cancellation. This is so weird! I ended up having to pay $20 more since I had gotten there on Saturday. I asked for the phone number that had called with the cancellation and called the number and it was some phone numbers that didn’t even have a voicemail. What I think happened is they might be low on bookings and they are canceling reservations that are made from earlier in the week at a cheaper rate and waiting till the person gets there and putting them between a rock and a hard Place, because who wants to try and go find another reservation when you’re tired from driving and you just want to check into your room and rest? Just wanted to put this out there in case anybody else has the same situation. Felt very scammy to me. I will never stay at another...
