I tent camped here and it was a little lacking in some areas. To start with, the wifi here is really, really bad. So bad they shouldn't advertise having it.

The spigots in the tent sites are crap. For one, I had to go into my neighbors site to use his spigot since I didn't have one of my own. And the spigots are so low in the ground that it's impossible to fill jugs are bottles. Imagine a kitchen sink without a faucet, the water just bubbles up from the pipes. That was what I had to deal with.

Also, the tents are the closest sites of all to the highway (why wouldn't you have RVs closer, they have walls), so the highway noise is pretty bad at night. I had to wear headphones to fall asleep.

The sites are also small and really close together. I mean really close. My single person tent ended up about 5 yards from my neighbors campfire---not awesome when they have fires going past midnight and I try to go to bed early.

And that leads us to the worst part of my experience: my neighbors. Between blaring music well into the night and having domestic disputes non-stop, it was hard for me to feel safe and get any sleep. The quiet time supposedly begins at 10 p.m. Well if that's the case, the management of the place doesn't enforce it. I mentioned it to the people at the office and they offered to move me to a different site....after I had already set up everything and it had rained. So I would have to repack everything while it's wet and move to a site across the park, because of my neighbors (who had been staying there for weeks and were scheduled to stay for weeks to come). That doesn't seem very fair to me, seeing as I wasn't the one breaking any rules. (Oh, there's also rules against being publicly intoxicated...you can guess who disregarded that one as well.)

These neighbors really ruined my visit, so much so that I would avoid them as much as possible.

I will say that the bathrooms are good, they are large and clean. There is a really nice laundry area and activity hall, which I ended up spending as much time as possible in. The employees are nice and most of the other guests, too. It's just really disappointing that camping here costs as much as it did, considering that management does nothing about guests who flagrantly and repeatedly break the rules.

Oh, and the wifi is painfully bad. I only mention this again because it was a nonstop source of frustration to me. The park is also in a dead zone, so good luck getting service on your phone.

I really considered giving it two stars but I felt that was a little harsh, especially since most of the people were so nice (including a fellow tent camper...

The location is great! Beautiful view. We stayed for several days and WILL NOT be back again.

The women's bathroom had poor ventilation and always smelled terrible of either sewage or feces. Shower curtain missing. One toilet broken. Windows that should be open for ventilation haven't been cleaned in years. Paper towels and toilet paper were out.

The pool was dirty and the water was freezing.

The clubhouse was outdated and dirty and dingy. There was a pool table and ping-pong table in the clubhouse which attracted kids but only for a few minutes because there were no light switches to be found to turn any lights on to play. Ugly and dirty tables, chairs, and couches need to go! Filthy floors haven't seen a mop in months. Miniature golf was terribly boring.

Laundy room was filthy and hadn't been swept or dusted in months. Half of the washers and dryer were not working. To pay for laundry, you had to either buy a card for $5 and then load money onto the card to pay for washing and drying or download an app and hope that it worked. Could only load in $10 increments, which meant we ended up with money left on a card that went to waste. Staff was only visible at check-in and late in the morning when they would ride around checking to see who left.

Tent sites had no shade. Thankfully, we were in an rv. Sites are terribly unlevel and dangerous. Most RVs had a big drop from the steps to the gravel. The gravel made it very difficult to park and level on as our leveling blocks just slid around on the gravel while we tried to park. Noise from the highway can be loud if you are in a tent.

We stayed at 2 other KOAs on our trip and the others were great! This KOA is very poorly managed. I would not recommend this campground and we will find another place to stay next time we are in the area. There is great potential here and it is a shame that a spectacular location would suffer under...

If this place had different management, I probably would have rated it higher. Unfortunately, when we went the bathrooms and showers were being remodeled, and we had no notification of this when we made our reservation. We arrived after hours, we got our camp set up to find only outhouses available when we needed bathrooms. When completing our registration the next morning, the lady at the registration desk helped several people on the phone, sometimes chatting about her personal life extending these calls, with those making reservations before she gave us any attention. I have some physical difficulties and standing for long was extremely difficult, and they had no place to sit. When asking about showers, the only ones available were in cabins up a flight of stairs, and I haven't been able to go down the stairs in my own house for months, so I couldn't shower the whole time there (the bathroom in our trailer wasn't working). Everything she said to me was in a snippy tone, claimed the info about bathrooms was there when we reserved (it was at the time of registration, but not at reservation time), and when I complained she exclaimed in her same snippy tone "well, would you like to go somewhere else?". We made reservations at this place because we couldn't get reservations where we usually go (state parks) and didn't know anywhere else with the full hookups I needed for medical equipment. I can't believe we had to pay full price for non working facilities (let along deal with the lady who obviously didn't want to be helpful, let alone nice.) I will only stay there again if all campsites and motels in the...

This was one of the worst, if not the worst KOAs I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in many! We are a 40ft fifth wheel with 4 slides. This was noted in my reservation. The site they tried to put us in was so narrow that if our slides had been out, we would have been over the utilities and our neighbor behind us would have had no way to hook up to their water and sewer, we were parked back to back. Our slides would have been nearly touching as well. On top of that, the site was so unlevel from side to side that we could not have possibly leveled. (We saw 2 motor homes in this site after we moved that had their tires entirely off the ground.) We contacted the office and told the the site wouldn’t work. So they gave us a couple of choices, one was another site where our truck would not fit and our RV would be almost as unlevel in another narrow site and the second option was to moved to a “premium” site and pay $30 more a night. It was available for 4 nights but not the 5th night so we would have to move our last night. We opted to pay more and only stay 4 nights and go somewhere else. The “Premium” site was better. Long enough for our rig and truck and a bit wider. It had a cement pad, fire ring, and picnic table. Problem was it too was very unlevel, as was almost every site, with a side to side slope. On top of all this, the amenities in the park were a mess! The mini-golf course unusable and the pool was opened but the heater was broken. This place is old and run down. What is up with KOAs these days??? This isn’t the first time we’ve been unhappy with KOA! We won’t return and will not recommend!

We (3 adults) stayed in Kabin 9 for 4 nights and had a great time. The view from the front of the cabin was incredible. The kabin itself was a little on the smaller side but that is standard at all KOA's. The kitchenette was a nice touch with a very good sized mini fridge and the bathroom was very large for a kabin. There was a chair on the porch which was broken in the middle, a fire pit (located behind the kabin, I assume to prevent the desert winds from blowing it out) and a bbq grill (you must use a lighter to light this but the kampground provides this). You are located directly across from a small state park area that offers some day hikes for a $5 fee (we didn't use this) and right down the road from Quail Creek. It was a 2 hour drive to Bryce and a 45 minute drive to Zion (both very doable). Though we didn't use it, the pool area was nice and they had a clubhouse with games that could be used. The staff was amazing and very attentive. The negatives: You are right off the express way so there is some traffic noise. The picnic table we had was made out of wood which is fine but it hadn't been sanded in a while so we got quite a few splinters. The septic system was able to be smelled while sitting outside from time to time and that wasn't a great way to spend the night but it would ho away about 20 minutes after the smell started.
