Was met by John, who is very pleasant and proud of his motel. Office smelled musty and of stale cigarettes. He took my information and then showed me a room which he said was an older room but still nice, and clean with clean sheets. My husband and I don’t require latest and greatest, but cleanliness is a must. The room did look dated despite John pointing out newer ceramic tile. The room smelled heavily of bleach when we entered. We said it would be fine we were sure as long as it was clean. upon entering the bathroom, I could see the corners and “baseboards” were dirty. After I showered, I used the bath mat to shuffle my way to the bed not wanting to get my clean feet dirty and carry it in the bed. The towel turned almost black. Seeing this, I starting thinking the room wasn’t as clean as we were led to believe. Asked hubs to check the bedding, and were appalled to find black spots all over the linens, and pubic hair. Utterly disgusted we went to go talk to John who we then could not reach. I sent all our concerns to the contact for the motel, who in turn set pictures of the soap wrapper on the sink, the shampoo bottles used (there was no trash can provided in this room) and bed covers pulled back, I’m guessing to say that this was our mess? I’m not sure, no verbal communication has been received so this is my guess. John was very sweet, and I think his talents could be used elsewhere. Whoever is responsible for customer service/cleaning should be replaced. This was a really disappointing experience. Also, husband found a small mirror in the night stand drawer with powder residue which we had suspicions as to what this was used for. I’m sure some of the other rooms our lovely, but it’s sad management is not taking any responsibility for clearly an unhygienic and reprehensible room which we couldn’t bare to...
Read moreFriendliest front desk woman ive met in a very long time. The rooms may be dated, but they are clean and much better than other places in the area within the same price range. The water pressure issue stated by others is simply them not veing able to figure out that you have to hold the faucet and pull up at the same time. Thats to be expected from the sheer number of people tugging on the fixtures haphazardly. Water stays hot, heat works well although i cant speak for the a/c because i didnt have a need for it. Food is nearby and you also have delivery options. They have smoking rooms and pet friendly rooms which is really convenient. They keep the guests with pets to limited rooms in consideration of other guests with allergies. Edit: I still stand by all the good ive said, however there is definitely one major drawback. They gave us an unwanted wakeup call at 730 in the morning on a sunday! And then came knocking on the door at a quarter til 10 when checkout is 11. I cannot stand hotels that do that. I paid for a room,...
Read moreThe management is rude and the motel is run down really bad . He charged me extra because I had my edlerly mother with me. The bathroom had an inch or more dirt in the corners. Cigarette burns all over the counters, very dissatisfied with the room. The toliet clogged up and the owner stated that we had to wait til morning before he would fix it. When we was out of the room for awhile during the day, he would shut off the AC unit and it was very hot in the room when we got back. Only allowed us to have 1 towel and 1 wash rag. Then tried to accuse me of stilling towels. Very very rude and just a...
