Buena Vista House — Hotel in Independence

This was my 2nd time visiting Buena Vista House! And I truly can't wait to come back again. To be specific, I stayed in the Cob House and the Carriage House during my visit. If I could shout from the rooftops about how much I love staying here, I certainly would. First off, the hosts are amazing (2 sisters). They are responsive, friendly and understanding. Their attention to detail at this place is perfect. The way they've created each space to be relaxing, zen, as well as unique is superb. Also each house has its own private outdoor area, hot tub, and fire pit. There is also this amazing courtyard that is shared with the main house with games etc, hammocks, seating areas. Buena Vista Guest House was exactly what I was looking for. Clean, cute, friendly owner, reasonable and a breakfast to get me started in the morning - not to mention the espresso machine. The owner is wonderful and friendly and it is a very relaxed place to stay. You can come and go and if you want to visit with others you can, but the choice is yours. Would definitely stay again for a pleasure trip and enjoy the area and vineyards. It it a great spot if you want to disconnect, be out in nature and enjoy a bit of a quieter stay. I was in town for a training and it was the perfect spot to have a quiet space without the distractions of TV and lots of people to study...
