Tommy's on the Beach — Hotel in Indian Rocks Beach

This review is LONG overdue, but I have nothing but great things to say about our stay in April 2019 at Tommy's on the Beach. We had booked the entire house and hosted our 'mini wedding' on-site. Patrice (the owner) was accommodating on multiple levels and even went above and beyond to leave us a cute little welcome basket and wished us well with all of the wedding festivities! We ultimately ended up having the ceremony on the public portion of the beach just in front of the rental, but the grass pathway from the property line to public beach made a beautiful aisle/walkway. At the end of the night we ended up recollecting at the beach house to do first dances and the lighting and intimacy of the backyard was PERFECT. In fact, if I could do it all again, I would host the entire ceremony/reception on the property vs coordinating dinner/reception at alternate location. For those of you that aren't so interested in wedding talk... READ HERE: The property was clean, inviting, well stocked with all of your needs (and more) and certainly a great bang for your buck. We loved the intimacy of the back yard space and local stops within walking distance. Oh, and the sunsets are to die for! We are eager to return to Tommy's on the Beach for another vacation soon. We stayed last minute in the North Unit May 26-June 1, 2020. Patrice was so amazing and so accommodating to our family from Ohio. We had been restrictively locked down and needed a fresh breath and mental break. This quaint cottage provided just that and more. The view and beach access was more than awesome. The fun and cute backyard was perfect for our family to enjoy a beachside fire, twinkle lights, shuffleboard, lawn games, kayak, paddleboards etc. It was fully stocked with everything you'd ever want for the beach - beach bag, umbrellas, chairs, toys, fishing poles, nets, floats etc. The free on site laundry and laundry supplies was such a generous offering. The cottage was clean, well kept, fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials and then some extra. We brought our Shiba Inu and he loved being able to watch out the back glass to see us at the beach! The back deck and views are magnificent. Our beds were clean and comfy. The shower had perfect water pressure for thick haired families like ours. The French bakery in front had the most delicious pastries and quiche offerings. If I could give Tommy’s on the Beach ten stars I would! We needed a place to stay a couple nights before catching a flight out of the St Pete airport. My husband found Tommy’s on the Beach on Google Maps and decided to try it. I’m sure glad we did! Our only disappointment was we could only stay 2 nights! Upon arrival we noticed how clean everything was. Also, the attention to detail towards making the condo comfortable and accommodating was very evident. It was well stocked, plenty of nice soft towels, everything you would need in the kitchen, a full sized washer and dryer. We did not use the pool, but it looked beautiful. And the condo is right on the beach! It was within walking distance of several good restaurants. We plan to return again and stay longer. Such a beautiful and comfortable spot. Highly...
