As of this past weekend I've now stayed at Anne Kent Cabins for a couple weekends, once 5 years ago around September time frame and this year, again in September the weekend of the 15 & 16. Both times I was working out of Provo Utah on business trips for several weeks and instead of flying home I made the 5+ hr drive to visit Grand Teton and Yellowstone. I always choose the smallest cabin because it's only me and it's by far the most rustic looking. It was built in the 1930's and it's very symbolic of the old west, It has a full kitchen with modern appliances inside and a gas heater in the bedroom to keep it warm. When you wake up in the morning and look out the bedroom window all you see are the grassy meadows and the Teton mountain range in the distance.......it's absolutely a stunning scene out of the American West and it's post card quality! As long as you don't mind the bathroom being in a separate building and having to walk outside to get there, it's a dream. I would however suggest a flashlight for any nighttime bathroom trips. It gets pretty dark there and there are tripping hazards. Since the two buildings are rented out as one unit, you do have the option of sleeping in the bigger cabin with the bathroom if convenience is your thing. I would still highly recommend staying here if you want to get away from all the tourist hustle and bustle of JAckson, get away from all the overpriced gift shops, resteraunts and...
Read moreOne can’t ask for a better view to wake up to than here. There are 3 different building for rent . We stayed in the larger cabin that would be perfect for big families but it was just the two of us ||If a large family with several children is looking for a place to stay this would be it . |It has everything you need and it’s a real log cabin which adds to the western setting and there is a cute dinosaur statue in front yard they would love .|It’s just north of town so only a short drive back to get groceries and just minutes away from airport . |Looking at cabin from outside it doesn’t seem that big , but once inside you see it has a lot more space than expected , and plenty of beds there are 6 in basement .|Then a master upstairs in loft . |Had a large dining table and separate gaming /eating table in living room also . |If looking for true rustic setting this is it .. real log cabin (I believe the owner built himself) .|| The Tetons are right in front of you when sitting on front porch or at the dining table .||The owners are very nice and live next door . They are quick to help if have question or issue . BUT they do not bother you otherwise . ||We plan on renting again with them.| Being able to cook meals apposed to going out every day like we used to when we stayed in town and having washer and dryer, plus an amazing view , makes this place...
Read moreBest views of Grand Tetons around! Owners were very friendly and wonderful hosts. We rented the two small cabins. They were clean and exactly as described. The ground squirrel and magpie neighbors were an unexpected treat! We enjoyed mornings with the squirrel coming to sit by the porch and observe us as much as we observed her. The cabins are rustic but clean. The front cabin with the kitchen had a queen bed and plenty of outlets to recharge our electronics and phones. The back cabin with the bathroom had a single bed and bunk beds. The bottom bunk bed was big enough to sleep two and then a single on top. The shower had awesome water pressure and two shower heads front and behind to fully soak you. We have AT&T cell service and had decent service but there is also wifi. The cabins were perfect for our group of 4 and our 4 nights here. We did not want to be in touristy hotels or resorts and love patronizing local businesses when we can. Jackson only about 15 minutes away if you need something from town. The log furniture is made by the owners and added to the rustic feel and ambiance. No tv but we didn't miss it and needed to unplug. Who needs tv with that VIEW!? The road was a bit busy during the day but quiet at night. We had a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed our stay here. Would stay at these cabins again in...
