My daughter, in-laws and myself stayed in cabin 12, with the deluxe view of the Tetons and it was fabulous! We arrived late due to wildfire smoke and had to be rerouted around the fires, so we were tired and ready for a glass of wine. The cabin was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated (loved the large horse pic in the living room)! The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room to move around. We sat out each night on the porch with glasses of wine and watched the spectacular sunset over the Teton peaks! The parks, horseback riding (at Swift Creek stables), Jackson, tram/gondola rides were a bit of a drive but we were there to see the country and wildlife so enjoyed all of our excursions. We also took advantage of the charcoal grill one night (it is a charcoal grill and you can buy it at the cabin office, we didn't have any lighter for it but staff dropped some off to us!) Glenda and her husband were very gracious and friendly, Our oven didn't work, but it was fixed immediately when we notified them. Even with the wildfire smoke, the sunsets were gorgeous! My only suggestion to management would be to move the car parking spaces from out in front of the mountain view. You're looking over them to see the Tetons (the view is the main attraction for me and I didn't want to see vehicles). We, along with the guests next to us, moved ours so that they didn't obstruct the view. Maybe guests with view cabins could just use the drive as a drop off of luggage and then park off to the side somewhere? All in all, we absolutely loved our stay at Teton Cabins, and are still talking about it! We hope to return to the Tetons and would love to...
Read moreWe give our highest recommendation to the Luton's Teton Cabins and their support team. We were a party of two adults who rented cabin #7. The Luton family team were very helpful and they provided excellent service. We arrived late in the day (after 10PM) and they had left the cabin unlocked and the lights on so we could find the correct cabin. The Luton team provided clean linens and towels as needed each day and also loaned us a can of bear spray for our hiking in the National Park--which we fortunately did not need to use! The cabin was very clean and well equipped for cooking our meals and the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, closet, etc. were large and adequate for two adults. The heating system worked well and when found that the hot water heater failed one evening after returning from hiking, the Luton team came over quickly to fix it even though it was late in the evening. We were amazed to find out that the Luton family built these cabins entirely by themselves and sourced the logs from their own property. They are very beautiful and well designed and constructed. Outside the cabins there are picnic tables and outdoor grills that are available as well for meals and cooking, as well as comfortable chairs for "chilling out". The cabins are located on the Luton's ranch and are very quiet and located far from the road so there is no noise from highway traffic. We found the location to be excellent for access to the north portion of the GTNP and near the Jackson Lake Lodge, Colter Bay Village, and Signal Mountain Lodge areas. We would definitely...
Read moreLoved Diamond Cross Ranch and the Teton Cabins. Our spacious 2 bedroom log cabin suite with a view of the Tetons was newly remodeled and more than we could have imagined. Not rustic but more like a stylish farm house. Beautifully decorated with top of the line appliances in our kitchenette. Smeg fridge and dishwasher, Kohler farm sink, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Nice touches such as coffee table books of horses and the Wild West, nice linens and towels, brand new leather sofa and fine textiles and upholstery. We ordered steaks from the cattle ranch and enjoyed grilling on the out door BBQ with a glass of wine. Be sure to bring your own groceries but there is a little gas station convenience store just down the road if you forget anything. Being horse owners, the highlight was meeting Grant Golliher who was gracious enough to chat with us and sign his book “Think Like A Horse.” Only gave 4 stars for the service because we were disappointed that the breakfast service was not provided as expected so we went to a little restaurant at Hatchet Resort 3 minutes drive. Also, while we adored our trail ride guide who was such a cowboy, we felt that the 2 hour horseback ride was too basic for our level of experience as we own a horse ranch in Ca. Would have been nice to go up the hills instead of doing figure eights around the front pasture. Just a suggestion not a criticism as we will return to Diamond Cross and very much appreciate your kindness and...
