I hate to sound like a broken record with all of these other reviews, but WOW, this place is great! We found ComfyDome few months back, and we were looking forward to a winter camping stay, but the weather had other plans. When the temp dropped too low for the heaters to keep up, our host, Seth, kept us up to date on the forecast, and was an absolute rockstar about it all. He allowed us to reschedule for later in the summer- and it was all a seamless process. We just left our weekend stay today, and we absolutely loved it! The location and accommodations were perfect! Sunset was unreal with all of the frogs and fireflies! And we had one truly epic view of the stars! Seth was knowledgeable about things to do in the area, and he thought of everything! He attentive to everyone’s questions, and he could always be reached quite easily via email- with a lightning quick turn-around time. Always patient and helpful! When we got there, he met us at the front, and he showed us our dome- and brought us a welcome kit- including two whoopie pies, area recommendations, a lantern, some fire starters, two bottles of water, and even a few treats for our dog! And the morning we left? Blueberry muffins (the other reviews are true- they are to die for!) - and a hot thermos of coffee! Quite possibly the best customer service ever! What a cool place! Honestly, I can’t talk this place up enough. It’s just that good! 10/10- Would (without hesitation) recommend! We are already planning...

Wow! Our stay exceeded my expectations by a landslide! First and most importantly... The beds are so extremely comfortable and I slept so good in them. My body ached from the last place we stayed with creaky, old, hard beds. When I slipped into the clean and comfy beds at Comfy Dome, every ache and pain went away. Everything was so well thought out and all the essentials included or available. Access to showers/toilets, even lights available in the tent. The dome and bathrooms were squeaky clean, fresh, and cute. We even had a fun visitor our kids loved, Quinn the friendliest little dog. What a relaxing and beautiful stay. There's a little river/stream down the way that is really fun to go to, as well as, a pond on site. They really go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. Such a quality place to stay. They even brought us a surprise breakfast of homemade blueberry muffins and hot cocoa on our last morning. I can't say enough good things about our stay and the hospitality and kindness I felt staying there. Thank you so much! Can't wait until...

Look no further, you have found your home away from home!

Seth is an amazing host. Attentive without ever infringing on privacy. There was an incident with the dome I had reserved. Seth was quick to call me, letting me know what was going on. He offered me the chance to switch domes when available, which was greatly appreciated!

Having tried 2 out of the 3 domes, I can tell you they are all very clean and super comfortable. Each one has its little perks. No matter what you choose, you will have a stellar time.

I chose this place because I wanted to SUP my days away. At first, I thought the pond on the property would do... No, it is a pond you cannot swim in it is so shallow. The frogs and other critters will sing you to sleep though.

So I looked around and the Damariscotta Lake was THE place to go. The beach will entertain young and old. I paddled the river adjacent to the lake and was amazed at its peacefulness.

No matter what your goal for your vacation is. This is the place to go to find...

This place is amazing. Quiet, comfortable glamping, with lots to do within 30 minutes of their location. We climbed Mt. Battie and swam in Damariscotta Lake on the same day, and got back to camp in plenty of time for dinner. The domes are very cool, with a queen sized bed and linen provided. The domes also have solar power to charge your devices, as well as exterior lighting. Movable screens allow you to open the domes to sunlight, or starlight, as the top cover retracts to allow a view of a limitless starfield on a clear evening! Very clean bathrooms, with showers available. The owner Seth is VERY attentive and responsive. On our last day he brought fresh coffee and homemade muffins. All in all a great camping experience that we intend to visit again. Also for you winter campers, the domes are fully heated!

We enjoyed our two night get away at the Comfy Domes. Seth and his friendly pup, Quinn, were awesome hosts from the moment we pulled in and we were handed our welcome basket. The domes are nicely outfitted with a comfortable bed, warm blanket and a lamp and fan (all run off solar). We loved the sustainability of the glamping site with the compostable toilets and solar energy. The shower is just a short walk up the drive and towels were provided on request. The addition of the shade curtains were nice for the early morning summer sunrise and to keep the dome cooler on a warm summer day. And the blueberry skillet cake and coffee are worth the extra cost. We look forward to future trips to this hidden gem as there’s so much to do in the area.
