Been here five years in a row. In 2020 owners were managing from away and only has 1/3 capacity due to Covid - restrooms were closed and only people with restrooms in their campers could stay, but we were able to score a travel trailer from the in laws and were were able to stay. First site we booked was not very clean, has some trash and broken glass (can’t blame the owners as they were managing by proxy) called the owners and asked if we could change sites, they were very accommodating and willing to work with us. Our new site had the best view in the house. We had such a great time that we ended up staying a few extra nights. Returned in 2021 with our pop up as restrictions in NH were eased. We were the only pop up in the water/electric area for the weekend so the owners let us utilize all four sites - bathrooms were really clean and showers were hot. Kids loved the pool (pool is great!) and the playground. All sites have picnic tables and fire rings. Sites were very clean and maintained. Campground WiFi is top notch. Very reasonably priced. Great views of the presidential range. Wonderful owners. Quiet and family friendly. Lots of stuff to do and places to go in this area. Plan on returning in 2025 for a sixth straight year.

Tucked in the Presidential Mountain Range of New Hampshire is a hidden gem of a campground. With 65 RV sites and 20 tent sites this is not a Jellystone kind of place. It features a pool, playground and tons of open space for kids' activities. There's a series of mowed trails they call the dig walk area, but it is also good for your walk around the campground after dinner. The sites are maintained well, and bathrooms are clean. If you are tenting, it is a bit of a walk to the one bathroom. We were there in mid-July and they had live music and face painting on Saturday afternoon. The camp store is small but offers many camping supplies and staples. This campground is between Gorham and Landcaster. Close to attractions but not in the middle of them. It is a short drive to access the Presidential Rail Trail. This is a 19 mile bike path, also used for walking and horseback riding. We will be back to Jefferson campground again.

My family and I stayed there for the Columbus Day weekend and we had a great experience. Beautiful and quiet campsite near Santa’s Village, Mt Washington and Wildcat Mountain. Bathroom, Shower room and laundry are well maintained and clean. They also have fun stuff for kids at the playground and pets are allowed. Affordable price comparing to others. Great people like Dedra (if I spell correctly) and Andy are always welcoming, friendly and attentive. Worth driving 8 hours from Penn to this campsite. I don’t do comments usually but this is definitely a 5 stars and it is highly recommended.

We had a great visit with our family to Jefferson Campground! As a tent camper I was initially a bit nervous about the quantity of RVs but but the tents are in a different area of the park which is pleasantly wooded and really beautiful. Picture attached is the lot across from ours (T13).||||Apparently the campground is under reasonably new owners who took over just before COVID and have some big dreams for the place, including adding a bathroom closer to the tent campsites and adding a group campsite.||||Pros:||-Stunning fall colors and tree cover ||-Decently sized campsites with variety of landscapes (more wooded vs more open) and good privacy ||-Easy 30 min drive to Mt Washington||-Potable water station was noticeably delicious (really, the water was super fresh and good tasting)||-Bathrooms are sparkling clean and they even have showers (and laundry service!)||-Owners are delightful. They delivered our firewood to us and brought us a free package of s'mores.||-Easy check-in experience; done entirely online before we arrived so we could go straight to our tent; check out was even simpler!||||Cons:||-Definitely check the restricted dog breeds list. Our German Shepherd mix was restricted and we had to find last minute dog care.||-Only one of the fire pits had a grill||-Wood purchased on site was a bit damp||-Bathrooms were a bit far from campsites (see comment above that they want to add another one)||-Wifi doesn't stretch to the last campsite, playground and pool are old (but look, we're camping here so if you're coming for these amenities look elsewhere)||||Ultimately we are really excited to see how this campground improves over the years. The new owners are very enthusiastic and have some great ideas and we are thrilled about what they'll drum up!||||Thanks for a wonderful...

My sisters, my niece & my nephews and I were there this past weekend (Fri to Sun), we had an okay time. However, no one cleaned the bathrooms the entire time we were there. Only two of the four stall doors actually work/lock. There are three shower stalls but only 2 work. The pool was ok but definitely needs work. The store does not carry fire starter/kindling or lighters but they do have wood. The rec center was ok, it looks like an old garage with a couple of machines in it. They do have a laundry facility it is attached to the only bathhouse/restroom building in the campground. So the laundry and the showers share hot water heaters. They might have separate ones but since one was broken, everything was running on one. The Fun Park is only open 11am to 5 pm but that's okay because it's pretty small. They are working on turning all the old Six Gun City buildings into cabins but I think they should be focusing on fixing up the existing facilities in the park and...
