We have been visiting this location for several years and it holds significant value for us as it was our first couples' getaway. We have made it a tradition to return annually around the same time. During our visits, we always opt for the King Dome, which includes an hour and a half in the large private pool. The staff consistently provides a warm welcome, and we particularly appreciated the friendly demeanor of the gentleman who checked us in. His positive personality truly enhanced our experience.
However, we were informed that starting next year, the half-hour private pool option with the King Dome rental will no longer be available. While we recommend this venue for couples seeking a romantic escape, we believe there are alternative hot springs that cater more to families with children.
We thoroughly enjoyed our couples massage, which was excellent, and appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities. After dining in Twin, we returned to find that another guest had occupied the parking spot designated for the king and queen domes. I brought this concern to the staff, who were very responsive and supportive in addressing the issue, making me feel that my feedback was valid and promptly resolving the situation. Upon checking into our private pool, we were disappointed to discover that we were assigned to the smaller pool. Although we did not voice our concerns at the time, it was a disappointment.
As we reflect on our experience, we are uncertain about returning next year due to increased pricing and the removal of certain perks under the new ownership. We believe these changes may diminish the value of our visits unless there are substantive improvements made. From our observations, the shower facilities could accommodate larger crowds more effectively. Enhancements such as additional shower heads in the private pools, or more shower spouts in the changing area, would be greatly beneficial. Additionally, relocating the coffee bar away from the bathroom area and solar lights that lighten the pathways from the domes would improve the...
Read moreI’ve been coming here since I was a small child, and have always loved it. We can only go sometimes but always try our best to make the hour one way trip there. Yesterday I was finally able to bring my new family to one of my favorite places in the world. Unfortunately the experience we had while there was one of the worst I have ever experienced in a “private” pool. We reserved a private room for 2 hours and spent 80$, and other than some stray hair in the pool, we had a great time. Until at 15 minutes till we were supposed to get out(we were watching the clock like a hawk to make sure we didn’t miss clock out) a lady knocked very aggressively on the door telling us that our time was up and we needed to get out. I was thrown off because in the past they had always given us a warning beforehand at about 30 min, however I didn’t complain and got out of the pool and my whole family (3 year old included) and started to get out of our wet clothes and into our dry so we could leave, as there is a private changing room attached to the private pool. Not even 5 minutes into struggling to get everyone dressed (parents know) another angry knock was at the door. The lady claimed to have knocked 3 times already and said she was going to unlock the door, already putting the key in. At that point I lost it, telling her this was only the second knock we heard and that my family was currently getting dressed and that we were not decent but hurrying as much as possible. Back in my day 2 hours meant 2 hours and we still had a good 10 minutes left, I’m very disappointed with my stay and it hurts my heart how far they have fallen since I was a child. I feel as tho our privacy was all but violated, my wife has been upset all night because she has had really bad experiences with people peeping and now I’m left to pick up the pieces of what was supposed to be a great night.
Edit: it was resolved very nice and in a...
Read moreThe water temperature for each section of pools are fantastic. The staff are usually great and accommodating. I have been coming here for years but only on rare occasions. The last couple of years they have increased their prices drastically and, with my wife and I and six kids, it is no longer affordable for the limited activities. There is not enough to do for a full or even half day for the price to be worth it. My wife and I just went there the day after Valentine’s Day at 2:30 and the person at the counter asked if we had a reservation. No, we did not. She’s continued by telling us that reservations would be required and I felt like she was ready to turn us away. As I turned to my wife to decide what to do, three employee said today she would make an exception this time. I asked when that policy was changed. “A couple of years ago” Was her reply. The last several times in the last couple years that I have been here has never once been addressed to me until now. The location, 40 minutes from Twin Falls, makes it upsetting to be turned away. Thankfully the staff member let us in for the 2 hours we stayed to soak. The biggest problem is feeling like we would be turned away when, at 2:30, there were possibly only 25 people using all of the pools combined, private pools not included and one section was covered during a remodel. $19.00 a person is steep, even on a weekend, especially for 2 hours. It makes Roaring springs or lava hot springs sound more reasonable. Sorry (Miracle), I will not be returning unless things change, in favor...
