Dave is an excellent host and driver. He is very knowledgeable about the area, including some interesting history and facts, and has an excellent sense of humor as well as gentlemanly behavior. He listened to our plans for a bachelorette weekend and provided appropriate suggestions to ensure we had a unique and fun experience. Hill County Wine Tours offered a complete package for an overnight stay for 10 people in 3 of the Texas music themed casistas (barndominiums) with an all inclusive tour with tastings at three beautiful wineries that included lunch, the cost of the tastings and gratuity at each winery, as well as the transportation to/from the Hacienda Amor. The casistas were the perfect size and provided a gorgeous view of hill country. The pictures on the website are current, but do not do the location justice. Absolutely terrific bachelorette party adventure on all accounts! Dave gave us a wonderful al-inclusive experience. Not only did he pick 3 fabulous wineries to escort us but he took the time to take our photos through the day and built us a video montage. Our package was tailored to us and covered everything, what’s more was that along the way he kept giving us trips and suggestion of how to make our day better. The Casitas are brand new, beautiful, comfortable, with a gorgeous view and a quick ride to so many wineries. Each is stylishly themed with Texas music artists; Miranda, Waylon, Stevie Ray, and Willie. There is also access to the large tasting patio if needed that has lots of lounge style seating, bluetooth sound system, fans, and evening lighting. I'm so in love with Hacienda Amor! We stayed in the Waylon casita and it was perfect. There's a music theme throughout. The hosts, Dave and Ruth, have thought of every detail. This is a beautiful 2 bedroom casita with a full bath and kitchenette. We loved sitting on the patio and soaking in the Hill Country vibe! Watch out for the pups, Peggy and Lee! They are super affectionate. We were greeted by both upon arrival and they were our night security guards! Our visit to the area included a bottling event at Garrison Brothers.
