The property is immaculate but not sparse. It has all the comfort of being a home with all the aspects of lived-in space rather than a bland hotel. This is a home set in the quiet and peace of the desert. From the moment you drive in you know you want to be here, and you know you will want to stay. The cabin has everything you will need. A fully equipped kitchen, a very comfortable bed and plenty of furniture to just laze around in. The outdoor space is designed to blend in with the larger property, always private but also expansive. There are many options of where to sit outdoors, from the east chairs, to the hammocks, to the dining table to the fire pit. Watching the sun rise on the surrounding mountains with the birds stirring while having coffee is a great way to begin the day. Watching the sun set with blazing hills and rocks as the cool breeze moves the bushes and the stars come out is awesome. At night the sky is blazing with millions of stars. Access to the National Park is easy and the connection between the expanse of the park and the home on this piece of land is clear and obvious. I am practically pinching myself that I found this home to stay in for a solo trip to the desert, it was just so awesome! The outdoor setting was incredible. It was remote and there was a lot of space to walk around and explore the property and magical desert environment, and it was super quiet...but still a few neighbors not too far away so you don't feel completely isolated. The cabin itself was really nicely and thoughtfully designed and set up, very convenient, and very clean. While there, I actually wanted to wake up early in the morning and felt energized by the early morning desert sun. Also, Susan was really great to message with and very responsive, you can tell she is a professional. A very solid experience, and I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a vacation rental in the desert/that is close to Joshua Tree, to absolutely stay...

What a gem! This place is super cool. Sits FAR off the road. We rode our motorcycles there. It's very, very private. SUPER clean, well appointed and the cottage has been decorated with perfect taste. The desert landscaping is well done and so pleasant to just relax in. Kinda makes you never wanna leave the backyard. Especially for sunrises and sunsets. It's perfect for two. Susan is just a text/phone call away should you need anything...She gave us so many great ideas for things to do via emails and such.
