Glamp Michigan — Hotel in Joyfield Township

10/10 stay! Glamp Michigan delivered on every promise!

The domes are well appointed and extremely comfortable. We kept thinking, oh it would be nice if they had...only to find that they had everything we needed! The hot tub and Solo Stove (with ample wood supply) were the perfect touch after a busy day. We didn't use the sauna cos it was already like 100 friggin degrees outside.

(My only note is to bring an eye mask--the WALL of windows makes for a spectacular view, but the summer sun wakes up well before humans should, so a mask would ensure a couple more hours of sleep.)

The location is great too. Super close to Crystal Mountain for skiing or, in our case, Alpine Sliding. Lots of fun! I can't imagine a more perfect location for skiers during the winter months. Beulah, Crystal Lake, Sleeping Bear and Glen Arbor are all...

The property is quiet and surrounded by nature. You can see where your neighboring guests are, but, it's not crowded and the window is not facing the roadway. The dome itself was very neat and clean. It was well stocked with standard supplies as well as thoughtful things that they did not have to provide. There are lots of lighting options which is great for when someone wakes up or sleeps earlier. The view from the large window is gorgeous and grounding. The host is very communicative and responsive, providing instructions and even checking in during and after our stay. Spent a weekend in November, 2024 at the Glamping Domes in northern Michigan. We had the entire property to ourselves. It was like going to a Spa, with the sauna, cold plunge and hot tub which we did everyday. The owner of the unit thought of everything with wood for a Solo Stove fire (smoke free - is great), grill, enclosed screened in outdoor sitting area, washer and dryer, but even more the little things.
