Look no further! We just finished the most amazing vacation at Somers Bay Cabins. Cabin #10 & 12 proved to be perfect for our two couples. The interior was modern while still maintaining a log cabin feel. The complimentary soaps, conditioner, lotions, towels, etc. were all high quality. Cabins & grounds were extremely clean and maintained. Kitchens were well stocked with what we needed for every meal. Fridge & freezer included. Our room had ground local coffee, which was dark and delicious, for us to brew each morning. Both cabins provided extremely comfy beds and pillows...we slept amazing! The view of the lake was better than expected...very pleasing. Free Wi-fi was provided and gave no hiccups in service Right on the lake...just walk across to enjoy the water or up the road to enjoy the artistic little town of Somers. Nature trails and everything! And the water pressure WOW! I joked to my hubby that the shower created a free massage.
In an effort to help you determine if cabins 10 & 12 are for you...they were identical in size and layout and again both extremely clean and modern.
We would especially like to thank Tia, Brother (name ?), Bob, Bryan and every person on their wonderful team who treated us like family.
As a person who's career was in PR I took special note that your level of interaction with us was a perfect dance. Not all guests want the same experience & I could tell you were reading us and giving back a level of socializing you could sense we wanted. In doing so you gave us an inclusive villager feeling, one to be remembered!
I also want to point out that Tia was extremely forthcoming while helping us select rooms over the phone months ahead of time. She warned us that the cabin closest to the lake was also closer to the road and suffers some road noise. My husband and I were not bothered by the road noise at all. Maybe the feeling the resort gave us balanced that out but in no way did that unavoidable issue diminish our comfort.

Read moreWe really enjoyed our stay at the cabins. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the cabins are very cute! The decor in the cabins was perfect and the size great for two people. I would not recommend it for more than 2 people, if that is even an option. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding soft and warm. The couch was also very comfortable, perfect for cuddling up with a book next to the electric fire. The cabin had a TV, which we never turned on as we wanted to disconnect and spend some time in nature. The cabin location was perfect, as they are tucked into the forest and within walking distance of the lake. A wild turkey was walking around the front yard when we arrived. The kitchen came with everything needed, except the place did not provide any paper towels or napkins which I was not prepared for. The only downside is that the cabins are close to the road and you get a lot of road noise at night; however, they do warn you about this on their website so I was prepared for it and it didn't bother us too much. They texted us when our cabin was ready for check-in and everything from booking, to check-in, to check-out ran very smoothly. The porch came with chairs and a table, perfect for enjoying the view...
Read moreWe really loved our stay at Somers Bay Cabins. We had just finished six days in Glacier National Park, and wanted a few days on Flathead to do the last bit of hiking and kayaking. The studio cabin we rented was immaculate and just the right size for a couple. Everything we needed was in the cabin, including fresh-cut flowers! The owner was very friendly and helpful. A big plus is the walking proximity to two really good restaurants: Somers Bay Cafe for breakfast and Del's for dinner. These were both about 15 minutes away by foot.||||The location was great: We were easily able to get to some parks for hiking near Kalispel, as well as kayaking to Wild Horse Island from Big Arm. Big Fork was a decent touristy town about 15 minutes away, but we liked Polson better, which was about 40 minutes away.||||These cabins are highly recommended! When we make it back to Flathead we'll stay...
