Whispering Pines Cabins — Hotel in Kalispell

Horrible experience!!!! We had decided to extend our vacation 1 more day before heading home. Found the cabin at whispering Pines on vrbo. We booked a cabin and made our way the next morning. Upon arrival we had a confirmation from the owner Norm stating we were ready to stay and to contact vrbo. So we did and they had said we needed confirmation from the owner that our stay was still pending. After 4 phone call attempts from our phones and 3 from vrbo operator we had no contact.after waiting a few hours I tried one more call to Norm. He FINALLY answered. Told him our troubles and said cabin was ready and that we could check into #2 the fishing cabin. When we went BACK up to cabin it hadn't been cleaned. This 3 hrs after the checkin original time. norm and his wife came to clean and told us to go into town and wait. We had asked for some compensation and Roxie said she would make it right. When they called us an hour later they asked us for our credit card to pay full price for nights stay. We were appalled. What they had said prior was completely different. We ended up at 8:30pm leaving and driving 45 min to find a pet friendly hotel. Highly DONOT RECOMMEND this place. Horrible...

We were looking for a cabin to hang out before heading to Glacier National Park. WOW, WOW, WOW, what a positive experience !!! These cabins can't be more than a few years old, fresh, secluded, have a great view of Flathead Lake in the distance, very peaceful, super reasonable $$'s for the value. It didn't take long before we met Norm & Roxie. They literally brought in a portable air conditioner since it was unusually hot, they were great hosts. Norm & Roxie worked hard to keep us company and super great people, great discussion, even let us borrow some bear spray. The cabin was spotless, bedding fantastic, kitchenette, WiFi, ambience, what else could you ask for. Grilled up some trout that we caught on Flathead Lake which is massive. Doing business with Norm & Roxie at Whispering Pines Cabins is one of my best experiences ever. Just can't say it LOUD enough, if you're looking for a cabin in this area, you MUST do Whispering...
