We just returned from 1 night at Cherry Treesort. We had a group that booked 8 of the 10 treehouses and we had THE VERY BEST TIME!!! There is a jump pillow that inflates at 9:30 AM and deflates at dark. The kids bounced ALL day. It was awesome!!! we took all of our food for dinner- there is 1 grill (bring propane tank) or the easiest is to put a grate over the open fire (grates are at the fire pit. The owners son sells firewood for $1/log, venmo or honor system cash and his daughter sells smore kits ($3) in the fridge. I absolutely loved supporting this family. There are trails to wander around, swings, hammocks and a huge wagon/tractor ride if it is running that night. If you are going with children, just take some balls and flashlights and you'll be set. ||||I have also been on couple's weekends and it is a really nice place to unwind, catch up with friends. ||||Each treehouse has a different set up, but they all have coffee machines, toaster, microwave and a mini-fridge. They have showers and plumbing, heat and air. ||||There are some cool attractions nearby-- Patterson Farm, Tiger World, Gary's BBQ (cash only), Carrigan Farms, and some wineries nearby to. This is a great place to check out and unwind. HIGHLY recommend...
Read moreI gathered my closest friends for a Christmas night together, and a friend’s birthday too.. I figured doing or staying somewhere different than usual hotel, so a treehouse sounds amazing. I came across this treehouse via Facebook, and I like that he has a lot treehouses to choose from. I got the biggest treehouse called The Big Nick. Main house has two queen beds, and a pull out couch. The other smaller house has 1 queen bed. I paid $329 for a night, and I feel like this is pretty pricey for a house tree with outdated rusty toilet seat and a tiny tv monitor with dvd but whatever, it is what it is. You pay for experience not for the luxury. I get that some people want to unplug and doesn't want to have anything to do with devices but some gather also maybe about movie night with the crew (my original plan). We wanted Christmas movie night, lay on the bed with our popcorn and whatnot. Nonetheless, we all had fun. We spent few hours by fire pit and grilling burgers. We had S’mores afterwards and Apple Cider Vinegar. My friends and...
Read moreI really wanted to enjoy my stay here. We were excited to have our family experience a true treehouse. Well , it wasnt to be. The biggest let down was the fact that the AC unit quit working around 8pm. My kids were in bed and so I didnt want to bother the owner, so we had to deal with a pretty warm room till our departure in the AM. Also, my goodness, the queen and bunk bed mattrresses, I've slept on mountains that were more comfortable. And what is the deal with the sliding glass door that doesnt have any lock , how is this not addressed?! I like the idea of the tree house, and the view was great and somewhat serence but the lack of maintence on the AC unit in turn causing it to fail during a 85 degree day (you can tell it had not been serviced in quite sometime) and the sub par mattress quality, and for whatever reason there was a good amount of vehicles coming in and out of the camp at all hours of the night. It was a let down to say the least. In hindsight we were better...
