We were able to get a pretty much last minute reservation due to a cancellation (I follow a camping group on fb and had seen someone say they had to cancel like an hour prior). It's a nice cozy campground, we were in site #25, it is definitely on the smaller side though, I had to keep looking out the dining room slide out because I thought it was going to hit the neighbors picnic table. No carpets allowed but it means the grass is nice around the site, during our stay I felt like it was a little high though. We ended up being there during one of the Halloween weekends which was super nice. They also have a pool that looks nice however the weather was cold. They have a playground however due to "covid" it was closed. The jump pad my daughter loved. It's all gravel which kinda sucks for bike riding but do-able. We were right near the bathhouse and it seemed nice enough.
Campstore very small and limited on actual store items, was mostly a gift type shop.
They also have McPeeks Mighty Maze area, so it was a hayride, wagon ride, pumpkin buying/painting/carving station, blowup slide, corn maze for adults and one for kids, a couple food trucks (only got fries but they were $5 and delicious). Everything was accessible and mostly included...
Read moreLove, love, loved it! We stayed in the glamping tent; the word "tent" just doesn't do it justice. It's more of a luxury canopy. It is tent on the outside walls, but inside is more of a cabin with indoor kitchen, w/large refrigerator and a shower with water jets & rain fall showerhead. Two separate bedrooms with real wood walls. Storage everywhere with cubies. Three separate mini-split a/c's too! The owners really seem to go above and beyond with the care of the property. Everyone is so friendly, the grounds are well taken care of and they offer daily kids activities for free like making ice cream and slime. We have been there the last 3 years and now the kids are putting in in our list of family tranditions, the glamping tent...
Read moreSome of the staff were rude. The park is smaller than any park I’ve been to before. The pool and basketball hoop were nice and is pretty much the only activity to do for teens. There was a playground and bouncy pad for younger children. The corn field was not grown up much to get anything out of the corn maze. It was grown up to about chest high. The cement on some of the sites were cracked. The park is about 10minutes away from the closest grocery store. The surrounding area outside the park is not walkable to any destination. Needless to say, I won’t be back and next year’s family reunion will be at a...
