Don't stop here! The desk person makes you feel so welcome & the price was $32 with tax. Then the site was close to the front & easy access to bathrooms etc. Our towed vehicle could be parked close by. We ate dinner @ Parkers in town & it was great. It went downhill after we got back to the park. The park appears to house many trailers, mobile homes etc. So more like a slum park from the look of the bathrooms. The minute I walked in & got the blast of mold & mildew I knew I would not shower here! The toilet stalls were about as clean as old gas stations, but still usable if you could ignore the bugs & dirt! Then the shower stalls! Well imagine your worse nightmares of mold & neglect from a renovation show on tv. So gross! I took pics & reported to health dept, but no code for that, but they can tell them to clean it up. That's all! I feel bad for the residents who have no other choice! There is even a coded lock (why?) to prevent others from using the bathrooms! A posted sign on an "out of order stall" states "if you can't show respect for the facilities, that right will be taken away! Final notice!" Unbelievable! Most disgusting place we saw on the entire trip in our rv. Pictures are attached! Beware! If there had been a 0, I would've used it! And you hear the trains...
Read moreParadise Cove RV camping site left much to be desired during our recent stay. The concept of a relaxing getaway was quickly diminished upon arrival. The campground showed signs of neglect.
The promise of a pool added to our anticipation, but unfortunately, it was out of order throughout our entire stay. This was a significant disappointment, especially for families with children who were looking forward to swimming.
Moreover, the overall maintenance of the grounds seemed lacking. The bathrooms were not adequately cleaned, and amenities appeared dated and worn-out. It felt like the management had overlooked basic upkeep.
On a positive note, the location was conveniently close to local attractions, which was a saving grace. However, without the advertised pool and with subpar facilities, Paradise Cove did not live up to its name or our...
Read moreIt is a nice park, but starting to get a little cramped. Our 38 ft forrest River doesn't even belong in the spot it is currently in. We have been promised a bigger spot for 2 years now, but it looks like that is never going to happen, because managers keep changing. We have always paid our rent on time and done everything ask of us, and it is very hurtful to know that doesn't even matter. We need a spot that accommodates our size. I don't want to leave, but it looks like the new owners have turned against us and keep giving the the bigger spots to newcomers. If we were in a spot that we actually fit in, then our spot would open up to fit an appropriate size and allow more room on both sides. I hope everything eventually will...
