This is our second time staying at this hotel and we would definitely come back in the future. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well kept. The parking is easy access. Each hotel room door leads outside to the exterior of the hotel. Great quiet location but quick and easy access to town. It is important for us to be close to town. My daughter loved the pool. The pool is not big but it’s an appropriate size for the hotel and decently maintained. Overall it’s a cute little well kept hotel with friendly people and decent prices for the area. This hotel is way better maintained than some of the other similar size/price hotels in the area (like the outdated, dirty Rh… “resort” down the street) which I appreciate. Due to the fair price during peak season we will book here again. It’s only missing a hot tub, but the rest of pros make up for it. The only other con I can think of is that the floors are a bit noisy but it’s not terrible. There is no elevator so handicapped guests may prefer to stay on the first floor. They always seem to have a few rooms left, even during peak times, which is great. The staff is super helpful with directions and information. The do a breakfast in the morning, which we didn’t get a chance to try. The rooms have a basic tv, decent sized fridge, good a/c and decent sized bathroom. The beds are pretty comfortable. The rooms are a decent size but not huge. They have a basic table, desk, chair, sliding door closet and night stand. They have coffee, tea and hot chocolate down in the little lobby area. If you are sensitive to noises, stay on the second floor so you wont have the potential to hear upstairs guests walking above you. There are only two floors. No smoking signs around the hotel. WiFi passwords provided at check in. There is a vending machine. There are larger pump top bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc in the bathrooms which I much prefer over the little plastic throw away toiletries some hotels provide. I can’t really think of anything else to mention other than I think it’s a good deal for the area and better than other options around here. I’m super picky about...
Read moreFairly nice. Dated needs much needed renovations. I think the price was way too above what you got. We stayed Sept. 12th 2015 for one night. 160.00. 2 adults. 2 Floors no elevator in case you can't go up two flights of stairs with your luggage. Found spider and web in bathroom floor corner next to tub. Sink faucet was dirty upon arrival. Dirty rug just under bed, large string or rope of some type still laying there.... Small fridge. In room was on and working well. Nice Flat screen TV worked well, Free Open WiFi worked very well!! Could of used a night stand on other side of bed, there was only one. Nice grassy sitting area with lounge chairs and yr tables with chairs. Very friendly office staff. Not within safe walking distance from Downtown Shops. Quiet, picturesque property! ! Pool area was open on arrival evening, looked very clean and lounge chairs provided. Very nice Expanded Continental Breakfast provided in office. Cold Cereal, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, baby blueberry muffins, Danish, hard boiled eggs ( Kudos for those) for us who don't like so many carbs. !!! Butter, salt, pepper, coffee, juice.
Would I use property again? Probably not. Find something...
Read moreWhat a quaint little motel. Let's start with the biggest positive, the staff. They simply could not be more friendly or more helpful, period. While not as many staff as some of the finest hotels in the world, the quality of customer service was on par with any hotel in the world! The rooms are comfortable, though just a tad on the small side, but keep in mind, it is truly a motel of the 1950s variety. Going to Kennebunkport is like stepping into a time warp back to the 50's and 60s. The hotel does have all the modern amenities like Wifi, big screen HD TVs, etc. The facilities were clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The salt water pool is a great feature as are the seating areas in the front with chairs and tables that help expand the room. Peaceful and quiet are the perfect adjectives to describe the setting and the experience. The location is great and everything in Kennebunkport is nearby. The only reasons this resort doesn't get a fifth star - it's a motel and lacks facilities that travelers often expect in hotels like a gym, game room for the kids, etc. No, it's not a One & Only resort, but it is a...
