We have tent-camped in Flamingo several times and enjoyed views of dolphins, sunsets, & sunrises, and survived in mosquito times.||||We wanted to try the new glamping option but were disappointed and left after just one night even though we booked 3 and were refused a refund for the unused nights. Donât book a longer stay until you see where youâll stay.||||The raised walkway went right in front of our tent and then around the side. If we had the flaps open for light, views, air, we were in full view of passers-by some of whom felt obliged to shine flashlights on us in bed. Think of a diorama in a museum and youâll get the picture. Tents are fairly close, so even with only people in 4/20 tents (I think) we could hear the conversation tents away. If the tents near you are occupied, you will hear every word and sound. We came for the peace and isolation but found little privacy.||||We didnât appreciate the one distant, not-too-clean bathroom and the rules against having food at your tent as we had envisioned sunrise coffee on the patio. The âpicnic areaâ is in mosquito heaven with a view of the toilets and parking. Electricity is at one place not near the beds. On the plus side, the sunrise was pretty and the beds comfortable. For the luxury price we expected much more.||||#20 has the most privacy and water views but full morning sun, #3 has good privacy but limited water view, #9-#10 have...
