Room 308 First and foremost...The Grey Bonnet Inn is an exceptional experience. It not only is a great base for everything Vermont but a great wedding venue option (the grounds are beyond picture worthy) From the first moment to the last, Paul is a host above the rest. He welcomed and we were at home. The rooms are well stocked. Beds are awesome and sparkling clean. All good quality bath products. The breakfasts are an experience everyone needs to try. The Farmers or European Breakfast are a must. All healthy, nutritious meals. All with farm fresh veggies and fruits. Cheeses, meats and fresh baked bread.  We had fresh strawberries from Quebec, tasted just as good as our garden grown strawberries! Milk so fresh you can hear it moo (reminded me of fresh milk when I was growing up) no chemicals involved in any item on the menu. Paul has a secret cheese sauce that goes on anything! Yummy! These meals stay with you all day. And the ice cream...tastes like homemade, fresh cream, like my grandma used to make.  I had lemon and my husband had orange/pineapple. Please give The Grey Bonnet Inn a try, you won't be disappointed.

I look a lot hotel and I found this Less than 10 mins to Killington ski resort Vermont.. Perfect ski vacation stay, especially for the price! Rooms were updated, comfy, and very clean. But filters air condenser unit was dusty after renovation. The problem all hotel I don’t know why? It’s not hard just call HVAC guy and problem fix . Because we Breathe dust. its not good to health. Water was rusted the shower and toilet, Breakfast is included, although it’s only continental weekdays but hot breakfast on weekends. Bed was comfortable. we sleeping how a Babys. We were very happy with our stay, and highly recommend this place!

What a great find this darling Inn was and only about 10 minutes from Killington Resort Ski lifts! The hospitality provided by Casey and Brett was top-notch. They were so friendly and made sure we had what we needed with our large family. The beds were super comfortable, and the room was very spacious and updated. A continental breakfast was provided for us on the weekdays with some pretty good choices and great coffee. On the weekend days, breakfast was a delicious hot meal. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend! (Wish I had taken more pictures)

I was driving from Stowe to Manchester on Friday night and hit a scary snowstorm. When i lost wifi coverage for directions, I stopped at the first hotel I saw which was the Gray Bonnet. Rachel, the woman at the desk couldn't offer me a room as they were totally booked but she helped me access wifi for directions and to find a better navigation app than the one I had. She also called a couple of other hotels nearby to see if they could take me which they couldn't . I went to their bar to get a coffee and hamburger and five minutes later Rachel came in to tell me that she had talked to the manager (Brett) who was working on getting a room ready for me which had been unavailable due to a plumbing problem which he was working on fixing. Because of the snowstorm I would have taken any room regardless of its condition, but this room on the basement line was clean, freshly painted (the whole level was nice ) with fresh sheets and towels, perfect shower, overall more of the quality of a four star hotel. I knew that Rachel and Brett went out of their way to help me because the snow conditions were so bad and I want to thank them for this! In addition, the hotel is a real find for the price and the burger and breakfast was great. The man at the bar who served it to me was a history teacher and it was really interesting to converse with him and several other people eating in the bar about things going on in the world today. Thanks again,...

UPDATE after reading owner response to this review: We alerted the front desk at 1:25AM, and the guests next door were incredibly loud until well after 2am, so I’m unsure of when they were actually communicated to. They were then just as loud again at 6:30am, so the warning clearly didn’t deter them. We understand the inability to move us since you were sold out, which is why we left. We also did not ask for a full refund, because we stayed one night. We just wanted a refund for the night we wouldn’t be staying, so we could put it toward our next hotel (Summit Lodge - very quiet!). We also had to wait 15-20 minutes to check out of the hotel because no one could find the front-desk staff, which was also incredibly frustrating. We would still gladly take a refund for the night we didn’t stay, if you wanted to make things right. Thank you.

ORIGINAL POST: Awful stay. Paper thin walls and laminate floors. You can hear everything next to you and above you. Had raucous neighbors til after 2am who were then up at 6:30am to be inconsiderate once again. Front desk was unable to move us, and would not refund our second night when we told them we would be leaving. It’s really great to know they will be making double profit off of us since now they have vacancy. WiFi is also terrible. The 1 star is for a good...
