I haven’t been to Ditchley yet so I decided to give it a try one beautiful fall day. The setting is lovely and judging from the cars in the parking lot, it appears to have an up market client base . The 1700s home of the Lee family, I believe nestled on a huge chunk of land. The main 2 brick structures are very handsome and are flanked by huge old trees and rolling lawns, the roses were still blooming , while the cows huddled in their fenced area , taking it all in you can tell it’s a special place . Tables were set on the lawns and a tent was erected between the two structures in the event of bad weather. Christmas music faintly echoed along the grounds .. I’m guessing outdoor concerts would be great there making for a very special time. Since we just got our tummies filled at our last stop we didn’t try the food offerings which were limited. In the future I plan to revisit it though and try what they do have .. Id suggest it’s a good place to bring friends ,or a date, or your partner/best friend .. more so in great weather . If you enjoy serenity, nature and Colonial Architecture you have to try it! I’m hoping they expand their menu for an even more rewarding adventure .. Try it!

This is a cozy, scenic cidery--would be a great stop in the fall when the leaves change. My husband and I visited while on vacation and stopped by for brunch and a cider tasting. Our breakfast sandwiches were no frills and yummy--bacon, egg, and cheese on an English muffin. I don't eat meat, so I just took the bacon off and gave it to my husband. Apple cider donut dessert was actually an ice cream sunday withba donut at the bottom. We were expecting just a plain apple cider donut or two. Cider tasting was fun. They were mostly dry and not overly sweet. The weather was beautiful so we sat outside under the tent and enjoyed watching the cows wander around just a few yards away. The owners were incredibly kind and lovely to chat with. Overall, a fun experience. I'd return if we came for another vacation. They also mentioned having an Airbnb on property which would be excellent to stay in.

This is hands-down the most scenic cidery we have ever visited. their selections are rather limited with only three ciders offered but all three tasted good to myself in my wife. two of the siders are relatively dry with one that has residual sugar in it that's not real sweet but a hint of sweetness. This is also a farm with sausage (various types/seasonings), beef, chicken and eggs for sale. We came early on Sunday for the brunch was very good.

This is a product review more than anything. ❤️

I was visiting friends in Virginia about this time last year, August/September 2024 and we were exploring Winchester & Williamsburg, and parts of WV. I didn't get a chance to see your location, but somewhere along the way I came across "Ditchley Cider Works - Ditchley Blush"... maybe at a farmers market, ...that somehow feels right.🌞

Anyway, I bought it as a Christmas 2024 gift for my dad. Well life happens and I didn't get up to see them, then i did and forgot to bring it and they didn't make it down.... So I've had it chilled for the past year and just tonight decided, to open it. 😆😂

You need to know, I am not one for ciders normally, that's my dad, but this is a work of art. The blush gives it a slight sparkling/wine vibe and the cider is perfectly paired. Neither over power the other and they are so complimentary. The unexpecting combination the world needs. I'm so thankful I snagged this on a whim and it ended up a gift to me. Win, win, I say!

I look forward to exploring more of your...
