Five Winds Farm Bed and Barn — Hotel in King

My husband and I had the pleasure of being the very first guests at Five Winds Farm Bed & Barn from late November 2020 through mid-December 2020. The resident horses are sweet and fun to watch. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed for a short or extended stay. The master bedroom is incredibly comfortable, and we slept like babies the entire time. The views from the front porch and deck are gorgeous. We loved watching the resident horses go about their daily routine. Although we are not horse owners, we can easily see how Five Winds Farm Bed & Barn would appeal to someone wanting to take advantage of the ability to ride nearby horse trails, then return to the peace and comfort of the house. The owners, Joanne and Derick Hepler, are very responsive to requests, friendly and helpful. Even though the house is in a rural area, shopping, decent restaurants, and entertainment are a short drive away. We highly recommend Five Winds Farm Bed & Barn for anyone looking for a quiet getaway. ...

Had the most amazing time. My husband work relocated him. A co-worker recommended this place after he stayed in a extended stay. This place is so nice. We are a family of five. The kids and myself would come up from SC to visit on weekends and school breaks until our lease let up and we found a home. The house is absolutely beautiful. Its a 3 bed 2 bath with washer and dryer and full kitchen. Its close to many attractions such as pilot mountain and mt airy( where the andy griffin show was filmed). Your about 25mins from downtown Winston-Salem. Lots of different food options available. The house is private and separate from the owners. You can see the deer and rabbits all year right off the back porch. We became good friends with the owners. Now that we have our own home in the area, we can't wait...

Enjoy the fresh farm air and view of horses from the front porch. Complete peace and serenity. The owners are the sweetest couple you will ever meet. The house is well stocked with supplies you need to make your own meals, to shower and feel home away from home. Very clean and the smells heavenly. Enjoy shopping and dining at mom and pop spots in Downtown Mt. Airy. Definitely making plans to go back! And this place is definitely great for business retreat or a fun getaway...
